,Iranian Cartoonist has been killed in airplane accident.
I became acquainted with Mohsen Rasolof in a winter day,he was a very young man that came to Iranian House of Cartoon with some
books, and he had a familiar smile as if he was an old friend.
He asked me to speak about cartoon and showed me the books of Jerald Scarf, Ralph
Steadman, Garry Larson?when I was seeing the books he described them for me and when he have seen his favorite
works, he asked me to look at them carefully and described them by excitement.
His intelligence, carefulness and great information so influenced me that if I wanted to choose a book I'd choose the same
books.When I knew him better I found that he was always active, and he was fond of photography and
cartoon, and was always searching for new art .From the beginning of Kasney group I was searching for talented young
people, and Mohsen was a special person among them.
The nice group of Shirozhan "Behzad Riazi, Hamid Reza Mosayebi, Morteza Azarkheil and Mohsen Rasoulof " in the last years could do important works with their
efforts and establish many exhibitions, their relation with the credible artists of the world is a reason for this
claim,undoubtedly this group is one of the most active cartoon groups in Iran.But now from this group "Mohsen" is not between us, he had a very bad
fortune, he has been killed in an airplane accident, it's hard to believe it.Mohsen Rasolof that his articles always have been published in Keyhan Caricature magazine is not anymore between us.
The last time that he came to House of Cartoon he spoke with enthusiasm about a journey for exploration and show them by his
camera. I was always influenced by his eagerness, but this time he spoke about his serious decision for making a new thing in the artistic field, and now I can only imagine him in my dreams and think about his sharp
eyed, pleasant smile and dignity in his behavior. I feel that there is someone
who makes him far from me and the feeling of loneliness is the result of this
event.Mohsen in a sad evening slowly entered to the world of eternity, as if he is being disappeared in the fogs of life, and disappeared from our eyes, but surely he'll always remain in our
hearts.Now all of us and specially Shirozhan group is full of sadness and we only listen to the words of silence, and his memories pass in front of our eyes and I'm unconsciously
waiting for him I'm waiting for his coming, because I can't believe that he has
gone, I feel tired and sad and I look out of the window to the distance,the window that reminds me of his last farewell.
