Here, you will learn more about the art that delights millions worldwide , and stroll through the history of the University Humor Exhibition of Piracicaba , a city internationally recognized in this area.

REGULATION / 2017
SCHEDULE
01- The 25th Universitarian Humor Exhibition of Piracicaba/UNIMEP, organized by the Universidade Metodista de Piracicaba UNIMEP (Methodist University of Piracicaba), will be held in accordance with the following schedule:
Applications until: May 20th, 2017
Art selection: May 29nd, 2017
Awards: June 2th, 2017
PARTICIPATION: 02- Only students enrolled in an under-graduate or graduate program, of any University or College acknowledged by its local government, can apply to the Universitarian Humor Exhibition. They must send the Application Form attached to a document that can prove his enrollment in a University or College.
CATEGORIES
• CHARGE: humoristic drawing related to a recent fact
• CARTOON: humoristic drawing with no relation with any specific fact
• CARICATURE: face reproduction with anatomic distortion, usually from a well-known person.
• COMIC STRIP: sequential story in stages/frames.
• SPECIAL: thematic category specific to humor artworks that deal with ENVIRONMENTAL / ECOLOGICAL issues.
APPLICATION: There is no charge or cost for the application and it can be done in person or by electronic or regular mail.
03- Each participant can apply to as many categories as he or she wishes, with no limit regarding the quantity of works sent. However, THEY MUST BE FROM HIS OWN AUTHORSHIP AND NEVER BEEN PUBLISHED BEFORE. In the cases which these conditions are not followed, the committee will proceed with the cancellation of the application or the annulling of the awards and the mentions received. In addition, the committee may decide to take legal action against the transgressor.
Obs 1: COPIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED (photocopies, photography, heliography) of the artworks.
Obs 2: Artworks made in the computer and printed will be accepted since they follow the rules of authorship and must not have been published before.
Obs 3: Regardless of the number of works sent by the authors (free), there will be a limit for the selection of a maximum of 03 works by each artist in each category.
04- The Artworks sent by email or delivered in person must respect the following observations: 30 x 40 centimeters (12x16 inches), no frames attached, identification in the overleaf containing first and last name, country, telephone, e-mail, the category in which the specific artwork is being submitted and the name of Educational Institute (in clear script). 05- Copies of the Application Form will be accepted if they are perfectly readable.
06- The Artworks sent by e-mail to salaodehumor@unimep.br must be formatted in JPEG, 300 dpi, limit file size: 3MB. Other procedures for sending an electronic file can be found at www.unimep.br/salaodehumor. The set of artworks must be attached to the completed Application Form, in addition to the image of the DOCUMENT CONFIRMING that the student has regular academic link (or finished the course in the last two years)
07- The applications will be valid if, besides the observation of the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th items, are received by the Organizational Committee until May 20th, 2017. For the application by mail, the date of postage will be considered.
08- All valid Artworks applied, according to the 7th item, will be submitted, to a pre-selection process, and only these will be eligible for the awards.
Obs 1: Apart the number of artwoks applied by the authors (free), there will be the limit of SELECTION, in maximum, 03 artworks from each artist per category.
Obs 2: All applied Artworks can be reproduced by UNIMEP with the purpose of promoting the Universitarian Humor Exhibition.
AWARDS
09- Many awards in cash will be granted, in total R$ 6.000,00 (six thousand reais), divided into:
• Four (04) awards in cash of R$ 1.000,00 (one thousand reais) each, indicated by the Award Jury among the selected artworks (regardless category).
• One (01) special/thematic Award, entitled Meio Ambiente/Centro Cultural Martha Watts-Unimed, in the value of R$ 1.000,00 (one thousand Reais), given to the best artwork that deals with ENVIRONMENTAL/ECOLOGICAL issues.
• One (01) special award entitled Prof. Almir de Souza Maia, in the value of $1.000,00 (one thousand reais), among the SELECTED artworks, defined by voting via INTERNET from the indication of the artists themselves/Selected authors in that edition.
Obs 1: Other awards and mentions can be created by the Organizational Committee.
Obs 2: CASH Prizes will only be deposited in Current Account (Individual) in the NAME OF ARTIST WINNER, who shall inform all data of that bank account to the Organizing Committee, after requested.
10- The selection of the Artworks to be presented in the Exhibition and the selection of the winners will be conducted, respectively, by the Selection Jury and the Award Jury. Members of the Jury are people with acknowledgeable talent in the area.
11- The awarded Artworks in conformity with items 9 and 10, will be considered property of the Methodist University of Piracicaba. The ownership, utilization rights and any other rights over the Artwork will pertain to UNIMEP and Centro cultural Martha Watts-Unimed, that maintains to itself the right to use it as wanted.
12- The non awarded Artworks can be withdrawn by the authors in person or by written permission to a third party in the period from August 24th to October 30th, 2017 in the same location mentioned in item 04. The Artworks can also be returned by mail; for that the author must send a written request authorizing the mailing of the work, which will be paid by the recipient.
13- The Organizational Committee and the Methodist University of Piracicaba are not responsible for eventual damage or loss of the artworks sent by mail or internet.
14- The formalization of the application will indicate that the participant is in accordance with this regulation.
15- Problems not foreseen by this regulation will be solved by the Organizational Committee and Rectory of UNIMEP. |

Zamanın film yönetmenlerinden birinin, babasına "bize bir çocuk oyuncu lazım” demesiyle oyunculuğa adım atan Halit Akçatepe ilk filmini 5 yaşındayken çekti.
Usta sanatçı hayatını kaybetmeden önce Halit Akçatepe bir süredir hastanede tedavi görüyordu.

Communication
Rules:
Initially, each participant can submit up to 3 entries in digital format by sending them before April 1st, 2017 via internet (Upload) to the following address:
www.nielsbuggeaward.org/sendcartoon.html
together with the digital entry form with the informations about the author. Size for the first round: A4 Format, 300dpi, 2480x3508 pixel (approximately), Max. 5 MB each file.
The cartoons received after the deadline will be rejected.
Out of these submissions, the jury will make a selection of 100-120 drawings. Only the selected artists will be asked to send the original work by post. All these works will be shown at the exhibition.
The works can be made in black & white or color, with any drawing technique, we accept only wordless cartoons, without subtitles. The submitted work should not have been awarded before the deadline of this contest.
Cartoon works will be appreciated by the International Jury.
The award winners selected by the jury will be personally informed via e-mail. The final decisions of the jury are incontestable.
The Prizes are :
1st Prize : 3.000 €, Gold plate and diploma
2nd Prize : 2.000 €, Silver plate and diploma
3rd Prize : 1.000 €, Bronze plate and diploma
The selected participants give the organizers permission to use their drawings only for promoting the artist and the event itself. Every other aspect of the copyright remains with the artist (except for the awarded submissions). It ensures that the awarded works can no longer be submitted in other contests or published by their authors or third parties after the official publication of the results. The drawings that were awarded one of the prizes will become property of the organizer. The exhibition and the award ceremony will take place in late May 2017.
By taking part in this contest the participants accept the above mentioned rules.

What is the Secret of UFOs? Who built the Pyramids? Do Alien Civilisations exist? What would happen if we Contacted them?
The Cartoonists’ task is to create their work based on those Topics.

The 9th Salon Medplan de Humor is open to all graphic artists, who can enter works that have not been awarded until the closing date of the entries, in the modalities and / or cartoon, caricature and comic strips. The comic strip should have only one page. If you choose the comic strip, the artist can put up to 5 comic strips on the page. The opening of the hall will be on July 30, with the announcement of the winners. Each artist can register with a maximum of 5 (five) works in the format 30X40 cm and using any technique in the three categories: cartum / cartoon, caricature and comic strips. R E G U L M E N T O
1. Nature and scope of the 9th International Festival of Humor of the Amazon - Ecology in Trace is intended to be included in the calendar of humor events in Brazil and the world, with the aim of stimulating and publicizing the production of graphic humorists. It is important that this humor room is a graphic gallery to show the talent and criticism of all the cartoonists concerned about the ecological problems that afflict our planet, particularly the Amazon.
2. Deadlines
The 9th International Humor Festival of the Amazon - Ecology in the trace will be held in the period from May 27 to June 4, 2017, in the Hangar - Convention Center of the Amazon, Belém-Pará-Brazil, within the programming of the XX Pan Amazon Fair from the book).
Period of registration: March 23 to May 10, 2017;
D) Opening and Awards of the Salon: May 27, 2017;
E) Closing of the Festival (Belém-Pará): June 4, 2017;
3. Modalities and Selection
Theme A: Ecology (Required) - In this category all unpublished cartoons that deal with ecological problems and which have not been awarded in other events are considered. 50 papers will be selected.
Theme B: Free - In this category are considered all the cartoons unpublished on any theme and that have not been awarded in other events. 35 papers will be selected.
Theme C: Caricature - In this category are considered all the unpublished caricatures of any recognized personality that have not been awarded in other events. 40 papers will be selected.
4. To participate a) Artists and directors of any nationality can participate;
B) Cartoons and cartoons: Scanned or computerized works, 300 dpi, A3 or 30 x 40 cm format, RGB color mode, jpg (average) will be accepted, with a maximum limit of 1.0 MB, only unpublished works , Which have not been awarded in other halls or festivals;
D) Complete the registration form with all the data of the participant: full name, artistic name, complete address with zip code, headphones, email, RG, CPF, bank details, works titles, production year, attach together with the works and Send to email: humorecologico@gmail.com
C) Each participant may submit to the competition 02 (two) works by modalities: 1- Theme A: Ecology (mandatory); 2- Topic B: Free; 3- Topic C: Caricature;
D) It is forbidden to include cartoons and / or cartoons selected in previous editions of Humor Hall of the Amazon or in other Festivals and that are not unpublished;
5. The Judging Commission
A) The organization of the 9th International Humor Festival of the Amazon will constitute a Pre-selection Committee that will indicate the works that will integrate the exhibitions.
B) The Judging Committee shall be composed of five members of well-known competence;
C) The chairman of the Judging Committee will be an artist specially invited for this purpose;
D) The Judging Committee shall be responsible for awarding honorable prizes and mentions;
F) The decisions of the Judging Commission and the Pre-selection Commission shall be sovereign and unappealable;
6. Works and originals
A) The works sent for selection will not be returned and will be part of the collection of the Salon of Humor of the Amazon;
B) The Project Organizers reserve the right to use any work registered, at any time, for the purpose of publicizing the event and / or carrying out the project itinerary by Brazilian states and municipalities.
(C) no work shall be offered for sale or used for commercial purposes;
D) When submitting your registration form and work (s) the participant accepts and agrees automatically with all the rules of the contest;
8. Copyright
A) The act of registering a work automatically implies the assignment of the respective reproduction rights for non-commercial purposes;

under the Motto: „The sleep of reason produces monsters” (Francisco Goya) or may be used, as well, the general meaning for sleeping, sleepy, sleepwalking, sleepless, insomnia, etc.
We are expecting meaningful and cleaver works at a high artistic level
2. Participants
Authors professional or not (not under 18 years old), are invited participate as individuals in the Salon, regardless of their gender, nationality or country of residence. The works must be send ONLY by the author himself
3. Art works May be done in black & white or in colour
Each participant may submit Max. 2 (two) works on each theme Good quality images of signed works
by e-mail: JPG, JPEG format, Max. 800 KB/work, at 300dpi resolution; by regular mail: originals Max. A3
Only works without captions and texts are accepted (text means one or more letters / digits / any characters or signs)
The participating works must not be previously published or awarded
No works with “adult content” or real individuals/organisations will be accepted, regardless of their artistic quality
Organizers own the right do not admit in the Salon works that may attempt against individual and/or collective rights - anyway all responsibility for any possible attempt against individual and/or collective rights is only on the authors -

7. Awards
Prizes will be available per each theme. The prizes consist in exposure on the Salon's website of: name and surname, personal photo/cartoon, works, technique, dimensions, price/work as follows:
1st prize: 10 (ten) works including the awarded work
2nd prize: 5 (five) works including the awarded work
3rd prize: 3 (three) works including the awarded work
Nominated: 1 (one) work, the selected one in the first 25 ranked works
The first ranked 25 (twenty five) works on each theme will be exposed on the web-site, awarded works including

The works will be exposed if these respond to all criteria and conditions mentioned in this document
The Jury is entitled do not award one or more prizes according to their art's criteria

8. Winners: Participants whose works are selected to be awarded will be notified by e-mail
Into Max. 15 days after announcing prizewinners, they must send by e-mail their works according to all the above mentioned conditions.

11. Other specifications
The authors who want to participate into itinerant exhibition will send originals. A selection of works will be done.
The album of the Salon will be edited in electronic format, if possible.
For promotion, The “Salt & Pepper” Magazine and The International Salt & Pepper Satirical Art Salon reserve the right to exhibit, archive, publish the received works and use printed materials of those - with the name of the author specified -, without limitation and any compensation to the authors.
The works will not be returned.
The Salon and Magazine do not sell anything and does not involve and is not responsible in any business transactions between authors and their beneficiaries.
This regulations are mandatory.
Participation into International Salt & Pepper Satirical Art Salon means the acceptance of all of the above regulations.

•Yarışmanın Amacı: Türkiye Gençlik Vakfı tarafından İstanbul Büyükşehir Belediyesi Kültür Müdürlüğü’nün desteğiyle düzenlenen bu yarışma ile lise ve üniversite seviyelerindeki gençlerin karikatür sanatına olan ilgilerini öne çıkarmak ana fikrinden hareketle aşağıdaki amaçlar hedeflenmektedir.
•Yaşama çizginin düşünce ve mizaha dönüşmesi diyebileceğimiz karikatür gözüyle bakılmasını sağlamak ve hayal güçlerini bir bakış açısı çıktısı olarak kullanmak.
•Gençlerin kişisel gelişimine katkıda bulunmak, estetik duyum ve beğenilerini geliştirmek.
•Karikatür sanatının gelişimine katkıda bulunmak.
•Duygu ve düşüncelerini görsel sanat çalışmaları aracılığı ile sergileyebilmeleri ve çevredekilerle paylaşmaktan zevk alabilmeleri için ortam sağlamak.
•Karikatür yarışmasıyla; hoşgörü, başkalarına saygı, bilginin yaşama aktarılması, kendini ifade etme, üretilenlerin gelecek kuşaklara aktarılması gibi kazanımları sağlamak.
Konu: “Derdiyle Dermanıyla Hastasıyız İstanbul’a” sloganı ile duyurduğumuz Karikatür Yarışması, İstanbul Karikatür Festivali’nin temelini oluşturan etkinliklerden biridir. Karikatüre meraklı ve yetenekli gençlerin, her mevsimde her dönemde hastası olduğumuz, kalabalığı, trafiği ve keşmekeşi gibi şikayet ettiğimiz sıkıntıları olsa da güzelliklerinden, mahalle kültüründen, tarihi dokusundan, doğasından vazgeçemediğimiz İstanbul’un birbirinden farklı halini ve bu şehirden insan manzaralarını karikatürlerine yansıtmalarını bekliyoruz.
Alanında uzman sanatçı ve yazarların bulunduğu “Jüri Komisyonu” tarafından derece ödülü ve sergilemeye hak kazanan eserler, İstanbul Karikatür Festivali için özel konsept olarak hazırlanan İstanbul Şehir Hatları Vapurunda açılacak olan sergi ile sanatseverlerin ziyaretçilerini bekliyor olacaktır.
Teknik: Teknik serbesttir. Yarışmacılar geleneksel yöntemlerin yanı sıra dijital teknolojileri kullanarak oluşturdukları karikatürlerle de yarışmaya katılabilirler.
Kategori: Karikatürler, tek kare ve çoklu karelerden oluşmak üzere iki ayrı kategoride değerlendirilecektir.

•Lise ve üniversite yaş seviyesindeki tüm gençlere açıktır.
•Yarışmacılar en fazla 3 adet karikatür ile başvuru yapabilirler.
•Karikatürler belirtilen yarışma konusu ile uyumlu olmalıdır.
•Yarışmaya katılacak eserler, A4 boyutundan küçük, A3 boyutundan büyük olmamalıdır.
•Katılımcılar kendi anlatım biçimlerine uygun her türlü teknik ve malzemeyi kullanmakta serbesttirler.
•Yarışmaya gönderilen eserler orijinal olmalıdır. Eserlerin alıntı ve/veya çalıntı olmasından doğabilecek her türlü yasal sorumluluklar eser sahibine aittir ve yarışma dışı bırakılma sebebidir.
•Katılımcılar, daha önce herhangi bir ulusal veya uluslararası yarışmada ödül, mansiyon, özel ödül ve sergileme almış eserleriyle yarışmaya katılamazlar, aksi tespit edildiği takdirde eser sahibi ödüllendirilmiş olsa bile ödülü geri alınır.
•Yarışmacıların katılım formunu eksiksiz doldurmaları ve karikatürlerini katılım formu ile birlikte son katılım tarihinden önce belirtilen adrese posta veya elden teslim etmeleri gerekmektedir.
•Eserlerin postada görebileceği zararlardan festival organizasyonu sorumlu değildir.
•Üzerinde imza, isim ve işaret olan ve yarışma şartlarına uymayan çalışmalar değerlendirme dışı tutulacaktır.
•Siyasi ve ideolojik amaçlara hizmet eden, sakıncalı ve zararlı ifadeler içeren, genel ahlak kurallarına uymayan, hakaret içeren ve ne amaçla olursa olsun firma adı kullanılan eserler yarışma dışı kalacaktır.
•Jüri Üyeleri ve birinci derece yakınları yarışmaya katılamazlar.
•Jüri Üyeleri: Hasan Aycin, Asım Gültekin, Şafak Tavkul, Volkan Akmeşe, Ahmet Altay, Murat Yılmaz, Ahmet Kesgin
•Yarışmaya katılan eserler, İstanbul Büyükşehir Belediyesi ve Türkiye Gençlik Vakfı tarafından ticari olmayan amaçlarla eğitim/tanıtım vb. faaliyetlerinde kullanılabilir.05 Mayıs 2017)
•Yarışmacı, dereceye giren eserin kullanım haklarını İBB ve TÜGVA ‘ya verdiğini peşinen kabul eder. Buna bağlı olarak gerek Fikri ve Sınaî Haklar Kanunu’nu, gerekse diğer ilgili mevzuat gereğince yarışmaya gönderdiği eserinin/eserlerinin çoğaltma, işlenme, yayma, temsil, umuma iletim, faydalanma vb. umuma arzda gerekli bilumum haklar için İBB ve TÜGVA ’ya izin/muvafakatname verdiğini kabul eder. Bu şekilde kullanılan eserler için, eser sahibi verdiği izni sonradan kesinlikle geri almayacağını ve eserin yukarıdaki şekilde kullanılmasını men etmeyeceğini veya bu izin/muvafakatname için herhangi bir telif hakkı veya maddi, manevi talepte bulunmayacağını, gayri kabili rücû kabul, beyan ve taahhüt eder.
•Bu yarışmaya katılanlar yarışma koşullarını kabul etmiş sayılırlar. Uygulama esaslarında yer almayan konulara dair takdir yetkisi, İBB ve TÜGVA ’ya aittir.
Yapıtların Teslimi: Yarışmacılar öncelikle bir rumuz – mahlas oluşturacaklardır. Rumuz karikatürün arkasına sağ üst köşeye, katılım formunun konulacağı zarfın üzerine ve kargo paketinin üzerine yazılacaktır.
www.karikaturfestivali.istanbul adresinden indirecekleri kendileri ile ilgili başvuru formunu doldurup zarfa koyacak ve kapatılan zarf üzerine sadece rumuzlarını yazacaklardır.

-Birinci Bölüm
YARIŞMANIN AMACI
Aforizma (Duvar Yazıları)Hakkında…
Fransızca kökenli olan bu kelime “aphorisme” sözcüğünden türeyerek dilimize yerleşmiştir. Bunun yanı sıra bu sözcüğün Latince’deki “aphorismus” sözcüğünden alıntılandığı da bilinmektedir. Türk Dil Kurumu sözlüğünde ise “Özdeyiş” şeklinde tanımlanmaktadır. Aforizma herhangi bir şeyi, bilinmesi gereken niteliği ile öz olarak anlatmak demektir. Dolayısı ile aforizmalar uzun olmayı sevmezler, kısadırlar. Aforizma bir şeyin özünü tek cümle anlatmalıdır.
Ülkemizde, yaşadığımız kent veya mahallemizde, duvarlarda bulunan “Komik” yazılar çok dikkat çekmektedir. Halk arasında “Duvar Yazıları” olarak bilinen bu özdeyişlerin aslında birer aforizma olduğunu söyleyebiliriz.
Yakın tarihimizde bu duvar yazıları bir döneme damga vurmuş, ne kadar mizaha yatkın bir toplum olduğumuz ortaya çıkmıştı. Belki bu yaratıcı güç sizde de var. Bir şeyleri kısa yoldan anlatıp, yazmak için bu yarışmamız bir fırsat olacaktır. O zaman kağıt kaleme sarılmanın zamanı diyoruz. Kısa ve özlü sözlerinizi bekliyoruz.
-İkinci Bölüm
YARIŞMAYA KATILIM KOŞULLARI
1.Yarışmaya profesyonel ve amatör herkes katılabilir. Yarışma konusu: “Serbest”tir
2.Yarışmaya Bayraklı Belediyesi çalışanları ve çalışanların birinci derece akrabaları katılamayacaklardır.
3. Yarışmaya sadece internet aracılığı (e- posta) katılmak mümkündür. Katılım adresi: aforizma@bayrakli.bel.tr
4. Yarışmacılar yazdıkları (1 word dosyasına) aforizmaların altına mutlaka isim- soy isim, telefon, e- posta ve adreslerini yazmak zorundadırlar. Her hangi bir bilgi eksikliği olduğunda gönderilenler elenecektir.
5. Yarışmacılar en az 3, en fazla 5 aforizma ile yarışmaya katılabilirler.
6. Gönderilen aforizmaların her hangi bir yazı karakterine veya Graffiti’ye gerek yoktur. Küfür, argo, cinsellik ve hakaret içeren aforizmalar kabul edilmeyecektir.
7. Yarışmacıların göndereceği aforizmalar hiçbir yerde yayınlanmamış olmalıdır. Herhangi bir yerden alıntı, kopya veya çalıntı olduğu tespit edildiğinde ödül iptal edilecektir. Sonuçlar açıklandıktan sonra kamuoyunda paylaşılacak 7 gün içerisinde benzer veya kopya aforizmalar konusunda itirazlar, tekrar değerlendirilecek, haklılığı tespit edilirse ödüller iptal edilecektir. Daha sonra benzerlik konusunda itirazlar dikkate alınmayacaktır. Jürinin kararı kesindir.
8. Aforizmaların son gönderme tarihi 15 Mayıs 2017’dir.
9.Seçici kurul Mayıs ayı içerisinde toplanıp değerlendirme yapacaktır.
10. Yarışmaya katılan aforizmalar geri gönderilmeyecek ve eserlerin kullanım hakkı süresiz olarak Bayraklı Belediyesi’ne ait olacaktır.
11.Ödül töreni saati ve yeri “İdare” tarafından belirlenecek ve yarışmacılara bildirilecektir.
12. Bayraklı Belediyesi “Aforizma (Duvar Yazıları) Yarışması ”için gönderdiğim duvar yazısı bütünüyle kendime aittir. Daha önce hiçbir yarışmaya göndermediğimi, (BU HUSUSA AYKIRI DAVRANMAM DURUMUNDA YARIŞMA DIŞI TUTULACAĞIMI, PARA ÖDÜLÜ ALMIŞ OLMAM HALİNDE, ALDIĞIM PARAYI İADE EDECEĞİMİ), eserimin hiçbir şekilde, hiçbir eserle bariz benzerlik taşımadığını; Bayraklı Belediyesi “Aforizma (Duvar Yazıları) Yarışması” özel şartnamesini aynen kabul ve taahhüt ettiğimi arz ederim.

Kurallar:
1-) Yarışma ulusal ölçekte düzenlenmiş olup, tüm karikatürcülere açıktır.
2-) Çizim tekniği serbesttir. Karikatürler bilgisayar çıktısı olarak gönderilecekse orijinal imzalı ( ıslak imza ) olması gerekmektedir.
3-) Karikatür boyutları en az A4 ( 21 x 29.7 cm ) en fazla A3 ( 29.7 x 42 cm ) olmalı ve herhangi bir zemine yapıştırılmamalıdır.
4-) Yarışmacılar en fazla 3(üç) adet karikatür gönderebilirler.
5-) Gönderilecek karikatürler daha önce yayınlanmış olabilir ama; hiçbir ulusal ve uluslararası yarışmada ödül almamış olmalıdır. Seçici kurulun aynı ya da benzer saydığı veya başka bir karikatürcüye ait olduğunu bildiği karikatürler değerlendirilmeyecektir.Her türlü olası tartışmalar, çalıntı ve benzer iddiaların sorumlusu katılımcı olacaktır.
6-) Her eserin arka yüzüne katılımcıların bilgileri mutlaka yazılmalıdır. ( Ad, Soyad, Adres, Telefon, e-posta ). Bu bilgileri içermeyen eserler değerlendirmeye alınmayacaktır.
7-) 10-18 yaş arası genç katılımcıların başvurularına, nüfus cüzdanı fotokopisi eklemeleri gerekmektedir.
8-) Karikatürlerin hasar görmemesi, kesinlikle katlanmaması, şartnameye uygun olarak; adrese kargo, iadeli taahhütlü posta veya elden ulaştırmalıdır. Eserlerin gönderileceği adres: Muğla Büyükşehir Belediyesi Basın Yayın ve Halkla İlişkiler Şube Müdürlüğü Menteşe- Muğla
9-) Yarışma Jürisi’nin sergilenmeye değer bulduğu karikatürler, Muğla Büyükşehir Belediyesi Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk Kültür Merkezi’nde sergilenecektir.
10-) Muğla dışında oturan ve yarışmada ödül kazanan katılımcıların şahsına ait yol masrafları, otel ücretleri yarışma organizasyonu tarafından karşılanacaktır. Ödül kazandığı halde törene katılamayanların ödülleri kendilerine gönderilecektir.
11-) 18 yaş altı ödül kazanan katılımcılarımızın sadece kendisiyle birlikte gelecek anne ya da babasının (Akrabası) yol masrafları karşılanacaktır.
12-) Yol masrafları otobüs bileti üzerinden gidiş-dönüş olarak ibraz edilecektir.
13-) Yarışmaya gönderilen karikatürler geri gönderilmeyecektir. Katılımcılar ödül alsın veya almasın karikatürlerin her türlü kullanım haklarını Muğla Büyükşehir Belediyesi’ne devreder.
14-) Yarışmaya gönderilen karikatürler içerisinden jüri tarafından seçilen ve sergilenmeye değer görülen eserler Muğla Büyükşehir Belediyesi tarafından bir albümde toplanacaktır. Albümde karikatürü yayınlananlara telif ödenmeyecektir.
15-) Çalışmalarını yarışmaya gönderen tüm katılımcılar, karikatürcüler yukarıdaki koşulları kabul etmiş sayılır.

The Jury might additionally award several diplomas to close contenders.
Cartoonists and fine artists from all over the world have the right to participate. They should submit at most three (3) cartoons, which have not been awarded by any other international competition, and on the subjects of antiwar as well as solidarity between people and nations. The artworks should be utmost A4-A3 formated, while art technique is at the artist’s choice, including electronic form, with the original signature. Also, there should be written data on the artist (such as: name, surname, year of birth, address, phone/fax, e-mail) on the back of the artwork or enclosed.
The submission deadline is September 05, 2017. The jury session is to be held on September 08-09, 2017.

Note: The 16th International Antiwar Cartoon Salon «Kragujevac 2011» had great international promotion and acclamation. Following the premiere exhibition and the award ceremony in Kragujevac, the Salon was showcased in numerous cities and international organisations worldwide. Thus, it was on display at the United Nations Palace in New York, at the showroom of the European Commission headquaters Charlemagne building in Brussels, and at the Serbian Cultural Center in Paris. The selected works of the Salon were presented in Kragujevac, the Polish cities of Oswiecim (Auschwitz), Bydgoszcz, Plonsk, Wielun, Torun, Bielsko-Biala, than Pitesti (Romania), Ingolstadt, Berlin, Dresden (Germany), New Haven (USA), Belgrade, Nis, Aleksinac, Vrsac, Novi Pazar (Serbia), as well as in Suresnes (France) and Carrara (Italy). In past 36 years the Salon exhibitions were showcased to audience in 41 cities and 19 countries. |

“KEYİFLİ YAŞ ALMA” Karikatür Yarışması |

AMAÇ: Dünyada ve Türkiye’de giderek ve hızla artan yaşlılık oranı, yaşlanma hızı ve ömür uzunluğu sosyal yaşamı düzenleyen en önemli kurumlardan olan yerel yönetimleri de bu konu üzerine eğilmeye itmiştir. TÜİK’ten 2013 yılı itibariyle alınan sonuçlara dayanarak söylenebilir ki 2011 yılında 520 bin olarak ölçülen yaşlı sayısı 2013 yılı itibariyle 562 bine ulaşmıştır.
3 yıl içinde yaklaşık olarak %8 oranına tekabül eden bu artış; yaşlılık görünümünün değişeceği önümüzdeki 15 yılın ardından daha da kritik hale gelecektir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda, bilim insanları, hizmet alıcıları, hizmet alıcının yakınları, hizmet sunucular, karar vericiler, sivil toplum kuruluşları ve bu başlıklarda dünyadan diğer aktörlerin bir araya geleceği Uluslararası İzmir Keyifli Yaş Alma Fuarı ve Kongresi düzenlemiştir.
Keyifli Yaş Alma Fuarı ve Kongresi hem akademik hem pratik yönüyle yaşlıların, yaşlananların ve kırılgan yaşlılara hizmet verenler ile aile yakınlarının buluşacağı, ülkemizdeki ilk fuar ve kongredir. "KEYİFLİ YAŞ ALMA" konulu bir karikatür yarışması da bu amaçla düzenlenmiştir. Sanatçılarımızı onlar için düşünmeye davet ediyoruz...
Yarışmaya katılan karikatürcülerimizin eserleri ile 'yaşlılık' ve yaşlılığı görünür hale getireceklerine ve toplumsal duyarlılığın yanında farkındalığı da arttıracaklarına inanıyoruz.
KONU: Karikatür Yarışmasının Konusu “KEYİFLİ YAŞ ALMA”dır.
KATILIM: Yarışma ulusal ölçekte olup tüm karikatür sanatçılarına açıktır. Herhangi bir kısıtlama yoktur. Yarışmaya en fazla 5 karikatürle katılınabilir.Yarışmaya gönderilen karikatürler daha önce yayınlanmış olabilir. Ancak başka bir yarışmada ödül almamış olmalıdır. Tespit edilenler elenir. Verilen ödül geri alınabilir.
YARIŞMAYA 2 ŞEKİLDE KATILINABİLİR
1.) Orijinal: Çizim tekniği serbest olup karikatürler renkli veya siyah beyaz olabilir. Gönderilen karikatürler en fazla A3 (29,7 x 42cm) ebadında olacaktır. Orijinal karikatür çalışması jüri değerlendirmesinde lehte bir puan oluşturacaktır.
2.) Dijital (Bilgisayar çalışması): Karikatür bilgisayarda çizilip gönderilecekse orijinal imzalı (ıslak imzalı) olması gerekmektedir. Gönderilen karikatürler en fazla A3 (29,7 x 42cm) ebadında olacaktır. Fotoğraf, fotokopi vs. kabul edilmeyecektir.
GENEL KOŞULLAR: Orijinal ve dijital çıktı olarak karikatür gönderenler eserlerin arkasına adı – soyadı, telefon numarası, internet ve posta adresleri yazılacak, fotoğrafları ile kısa özgeçmişleri ve banka hesap (IBAN No) ve TC Kimlik numarası eklenecektir.
18 yaşından küçük yarışmacılar yasal velilerinin şartları kabul ettiğine dair imzalarını eklemelilerdir.
Yarışmaya İzmir Büyükşehir Belediyesi bünyesinde çalışanlar, seçici kurulun 1. derece yakınları bu yarışmaya iştirak edemezler.
Yarışmaya eser gönderenler, eserlerin kendilerine ait olduğunu beyan ve taahhüt etmiş sayılır. İzmir Büyükşehir Belediyesi, katılımcıların karikatürleriyle ilgili izinleri ve telif haklarıyla ilgili herhangi bir sorumluluk kabul etmez.
Yarışmaya katılan karikatürler geri gönderilmeyecektir. Daha sonra eser sahibinin ismi belirtilerek çeşitli ortamlarda (broşür, sergi, vb.) İzmir Büyükşehir Belediyesi tarafından kullanabilir. Yarışmaya katılanlar bu şartları kabul etmiş sayılırlar.
Yarışma sonunda İzmir dışında oturup yarışmada ödül kazananlardan sadece 1., 2. ve 3. gelen sanatçının (1kişi) yol ve konaklama masrafları karşılanacaktır. Ödül kazandığı halde törene katılamayanların ödülleri adreslerine gönderilecektir.
Yarışmaya katılan karikatürlerden seçici kurul tarafından sergilenmeye değer görülenler sergilenecek ve oluşturulacak albümde yer alacaktır. Sergilenen karikatürlerin sahiplerine birer albüm gönderilecektir.
Katılım koşullarına uymadığı anlaşılan eserlerin dereceleri iptal edilerek eser yarışmadan diskalifiye edilecektir.

| Türkiye’de ve Kuzey Kıbrıs’ta 27 Mart – 2 Nisan tarihleri arasında kutlanacak olan 53. Kütüphane Haftası, Doğu Akdeniz Üniversitesi (DAÜ) Özay Oral Kütüphanesi’nde, 27 Mart 2017 Pazartesi günü, saat 11:00’de, Kütüphane Sergi Salonu’nda düzenlenen “Bir Işıktır Kitap” adlı karikatür sergisi ile başladı. |

| Sergi açılışında konuşan DAÜ Özay Oral Kütüphane Müdürü Osman Soykan, kütüphaneciler olarak burada bulunmaktan son derece mutluluk duyduğunu belirterek, sergi açılışına katılan herkese teşekkürlerini iletti. Kütüphane ve kütüphanecilik hakkında bilgiler veren Soykan, kitap okumanın ve bilginin son derece önemli olduğunun altını çizdi. Açıklamalarına “Bilgi güçtür, güç bilgidir” şeklinde devam eden Soykan, 53. Kütüphane Haftası kapsamında gerçekleştirilecek olan etkinlikler hakkında bilgiler verdi. Karikatürlerin de aynı kitaplar gibi güçlü mesajlar içerdiğine vurgu yapan Soykan, 53. Kütüphane Haftası’nda kütüphanenin öneminin karikatürler ile anlatılmaya çalışılmasından son derece mutluluk duyduğunu vurguladı. |

| Açılışta, karikatürcüler adına konuşan Hüseyin Çakmak, 8 karikatürcüden toplam 50 karikatürün sergilendiğini belirterek, Kuzey Kıbrıs’ta sanata, kitap ve kütüphaneye gerekli önemin verilmediğini söyledi. Göstermiş olduğu ilgiden dolayı DAÜ yöneticilerine teşekkürlerini ileten Hüseyin Çakmak, günümüzde artan internet kullanımı ile kitap okumaya ilginin azaldığına vurgu yaptı. Karikatürlerde mesajların çizgiler ile verildiğine dikkat çeken Hüseyin Çakmak, karikatürcülerin vermek istedikleri mesajları çizerek anlattığını belirti. Hüseyin Çakmak, serginin gerçekleşmesinde emeği geçen sergi düzenleyicisi Leyla Çınar Algül’e, DAÜ Özay Oral Kütüphane Müdürü Osman Soykan’a, DAÜ yöneticilerine ve sergiye katılan çizerlere teşekkürlerini ileterek, 53. Kütüphane Haftası’nı en içten dileklerle kutladığını vurguladı. |

Hüseyin Özkaramanlı: DAÜ, Kurulduğu Günden İtibaren,Kütüphanenin Öneminin Bilincindedir
DAÜ Akademik İşlerden Sorumlu Rektör Yardımcısı Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Özkaramanlı ise, DAÜ’nün kurulduğu günden itibaren kütüphanenin öneminin bilincinde olduğunu vurguladı. Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Özkaramanlı, DAÜ Özay Oral Kütüphanesi’nde toplam 200 bin kitap, 200 bine yakın elektronik kitap ve 10 binin üzerinde elektronik dergi olduğunu dile getirerek, kütüphane hakkında bilgiler verdi. Serginin gerçekleşmesinde emeği geçen herkese teşekkürlerini ileten Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Özkaramanlı, 53. Kütüphane Haftası’nı kutladı. Sergi açılışından sonra karikatürcülere Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Özkaramanlı tarafından yapmış oldukları değerli katkılardan dolayı teşekkür belgesi takdim edildi. |

| Leyla Çınar Algül organizatörlüğünde gerçekleştirilen “Bir Işıktır Kitap” konulu karikatür sergisinde Cemal Tunceri, Hüseyin Çakmak, Leyla Çınar Algül, M. Serhan Gazioğlu, Musa Kayra, Mustafa Cemal Azizoğlu, Mustafa Tozakı, Serkan Sürek ve Utku Karsu’nun toplam 50 adet karikatürü yer aldı. Sergi, 2 Nisan 2017 tarihine kadar, 10:00 – 17:00 saatleri arasında ziyaret edilebilecek. |

Sanatsal uğraşılarım benim limanımdır. Toplumsal, çevresel yaşam ve bendeki ruhsal yansımaları, devindiğim yüzeyde duygusal dışavurum olarak boyutlanırlar... Şimdi ise paylaşım ve çoğalma zamanı. İzleyenlerim ben olurken ben de sizler olarak artacağım...

Mardin’de doğdum. 1976 Yılında İzmir Buca Eğitim Enstitüsü’nü bitirdim. 1987 de İzmir Dokuz Eylül Üniversitesi, Eğitim Fakültesi Resim Ana Sanat Dalında desen sınavını ikincilikle kazanarak, Lisans tamamlama programına katıldım.20 yıl M.E.B. orta öğrenim kurumlarında sanat eğitimciliği yaptım.
İzmir A.Ü. TÖMER’de İngilizce dersleri alıp, resim dersleri verdim. Duvar resimlemeleri yaptım. Uçurtma Çocuk, İzmir Güzel Sanatlar Merkezi gibi özel eğitim kurumlarında da sanat eğitimciliğimi sürdürdüm. 2002 Yılında “AYTEN KÖSE-ŞİİRLİ RESİMLER” adlı albümüm yayımlandı. Bir Dönem Batı Radyo’da “GÖRSELDEN SÖZELE” adlı programı sundum. GESAM, İ.S.B.D ve KARİKATÜRCÜLER DERNEĞİ üyesiyim.
60 ın üzerinde kişisel sanat etkinliğinde bulundum. Sanat organizasyonları yaptım. 100 den fazla da karma sanat etkinliğine katıldım. Çok sayıda resimim yurt içi ve yurt dışı özel koleksiyonlarda yer almaktadır. Yerli ve yabancı albümlerde de karikatürlerim yayımlanmıştır.
Çalışmalarımı İzmir’de bulunan kendi atölyemde sürdürüyorum. |

Amaç: Kitap ve Medeniyet konusunda farkındalık oluşturmak. Kültürel açıdan özgün eserler üretilmesini sağlamak. Kitap ve medeniyet bağlamında gençlerde vatan sevgisini, kültürel miras bilincini, sosyal hayatta kültürün önemini, kültürel sosyal sorumluluk bilincini, kültürün barışa olan katkısını ve kültürün şehir hayatındaki önemini kavramlar ve konular üzerinden bilinç kazandırmak.
Konu: Kitap ve Medeniyet “Kitap ve Medeniyet” konusunun karikatüristler tarafından gençlik, vatan sevgisi, kültür, sosyal hayat, sosyal sorumluluk, barış, şehir hayatı gibi kavramlar ve konular üzerinden zenginleştirici bir perspektifle karikatürlerle işlenmesi beklenmektedir.
Bilge Şehir Kocaeli Uluslararası Karikatür Yarışması her yıl Türkiye’nin Kocaeli ilinde Kocaeli Büyükşehir Belediyesi tarafından düzenlenmektedir. Yarışma, tüm ülkelerin profesyonel ve amatör karikatüristlerine açıktır. Seçici kurul, Nisan 2017’de toplanacaktır. Bilge Şehir Kocaeli Uluslararası Karikatür Yarışmasının ödül töreni 13-21 Mayıs 2017 tarihleri arasında Kocaeli’nde yapılacaktır.
1. Konu : Kitap ve Medeniyet
2. Yarışmaya katılacaklar konu ile alakalı birden fazla karikatür ile katılabilirler.
3. Yarışmacı eserini kocaelicartoon@gmail.com adresine irtibat bilgisi, telefon ve özgeçmişi ile birlikte gönderir. Ön elemeyi geçen adaylar eserinin orijinalini posta/kargo/elden gönderir/teslim eder.
4. Gönderilen karikatürler en fazla A3 (29,7 x 42cm) ölçülerinde 300 dpi olacak şekilde en fazla 5 MB, JPG formatında olmalıdır.
5. Yarışmaya katılanlar, ekteki veya www.kocaeli.bel.tr adresinde yayınlanan katılım formunu doldurarak, kısa özgeçmişlerini, irtibat bilgilerini ve bir fotoğraflarını eserleriyle birlikte: Kocaeli Büyükşehir Belediyesi Kültür ve Sosyal İşler Dairesi Başkanlığı, Kozluk Mh. Mehmet Ali Kağıtçı Sk. No: 71 Seka Kültür Alanı İzmit / KOCAELİ adresine göndereceklerdir.
6. Eserin postada zarar görmesinden Belediye sorumlu değildir.
7. Yarışmaya katılıp ödül kazanan karikatürler iade edilmeyecektir.
8. Katılımcının yarışmaya katılacağı karikatür-(ler) in derece ve/veya ödül alması halinde, katılımcı derece ve/veya ödül alan karikatür-(ler) üzerinde haiz olduğu 5846 sayılı Türk Fikir ve Sanat Eserleri Kanunu’nun 21.-25. Madde hükümlerinde tanımlanan işleme, çoğaltma, yayma, temsil ve işaret, ses ve/veya görüntü naklinde yarayan araçlarla umuma iletim mali haklarının kullanım haklarını, bunların 3. Kişilere devir haklarını da kapsar şekilde herhangi bir yer, süre ve sayı kısıtlaması olmaksızın münhasıran Kocaeli Büyükşehir Belediyesi’ne lisans verdiğini ve devir ettiğini, Kocaeli Büyükşehir Belediyesi’nin söz konusu karikatürü-(leri) sergilemek, arşivinde tutmak, internet ortamında ve sair şekillerde yayınlamak suretiyle ve bunlarla sınırlı olmaksızın dilediği her şekilde kullanmasına muvafakatinin olduğunu, devre konu mali haklar bakımından kendisinin tasarruf yetkisinin kalmadığını ve bu nedenle devir edilen mali haklar ile ilgili olarak 3. Kişilerle işlem yapmayacağını peşinen kabul ve beyan etmektedir. Katılımcı eserini aldığı ödül ile belirtmek suretiyle kullanabilir.
9. Ödül alan tüm katılımcıların, ödül törenine gelmeleri için gereken yol ve konaklama giderleri Belediye tarafından karşılanacaktır.
10. Yarışmaya son katılma tarihi 21 Nisan 2017 Cuma günüdür.
11. Jüri üyeleri, üyelik yaptıkları yıl yarışmaya katılamazlar.
12. Yarışmaya gönderilen karikatürlerin web sitesinde yer alması konusunda karar verme yetkisi Kocaeli Büyükşehir Belediyesi’ne aittir.
Ödüller: 1.lik Ödülü 15.000 TL., 2.lik Ödülü 10.000 TL, 3.lük Ödülü 5.000 TL, Başarı Ödülleri 1.500 TL. (5 adet), Teşvik Ödülü 2.500 TL.

Goal: The aim of the contest is to raise awareness about the book and civilization and produce unique works in terms of culture. In the context of books and civilization, to raise awareness for the young people of, the patriotism, the cultural heritage, the importance of culture in social life, the cultural social responsibility, the contribution of the culture to the peace and the importance of culture in urban life through concepts and topics.
Theme: Book and Civilization It is expected that "Book and Civilization" theme will be caricaturized by cartoonist with an enriching perspective through concepts and topics such as youth, patriotism, culture, social life, social responsibility, peace, urban life.
The International Wise City Kocaeli Cartoon Contest is organized, and will be organized every year, by the Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality in Kocaeli, Turkey. The contest welcomes both professional and amateur cartoonist of all countries. The jury consists of will gather in April 2017. The award ceremony of the International Wise City Kocaeli Cartoon Contest between dates 13-21 May 2017 / Friday in Kocaeli.
1.Theme: Book and Civilization
2. Cartoonists who will participate in the contest may participate with more than one cartoon related to the theme.
3. The contestant will send his/her work to kocaelicartoon@gmail.com with his/her contact information and resume. Contestants who pass the preliminary process will send or deliver the original of their work by mail, cargo or hand.
4. The works to be submitted should be in JPG format, maximum 5 MB, which will be 300 dpi at most and at A3 (29.7 x 42 cm) size.
5. Contestants will send their short biographies, contact information and a photograph with their works to the address of Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality Directorate of Culture and Social Affairs, Kozluk Mh. Mehmet Ali Kağıtçı Sk. No: 71 Seka Cultural Area, İzmit / KOCAELİ - TURKEY by filling in the participation form attached here to or published on the www.kocaeli.bel.tr.
6. The Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality is not responsible for the loss of or any damage to the work in the period of postage and/or cargo.
7. The awarded cartoons will not be returned.
8. If the contestant’s cartoon (s) is/are awarded with degrees and / or prizes, the contestant accepts, agrees and declares that he/she licenses, permits and transfers to the Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality the rights he/she has pursuant to articles 21 to 25 of the Turkish Intellectual and Artistic Works Law No. 5846 and equivalent articles of any other applicable law, such as processing, reproduction, dissemination, representation and signage, transmission to the public by audio and/or visual devices, usage, financial usage and transfer of the each to third parties without any restrictions on the number, place, duration and number He/she also accepts agrees and declares that the Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality will have any usage rights including but not limited to exhibit such caricature (s), to keep them in archive, to publish them on the internet or in other forms and he/she expressly waives any rights he/she may have with respect to such caricature(s), agrees, accepts and declares that he/she will not act with third persons in relation to the transferred rights and for the caricature(s). The contestant may only use his / her work by making express reference to the award.
9. The Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality will cover the travel and accommodation costs of all awarded contestants to attend the award ceremony.
10. The deadline for application to the contest is 21 April, 2017 / Friday.
11. Jury members can not participate in the contest for the year they are members.
12. Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality has the authority to decide whether the cartoons sent to the contest should be published in its web site.

The Norwegian Cartoonist Gallery and tOOns MaG /Arifur Rahman invite you to participate in the International exhibition and contest “Freedom of Expression” 2017.
Requirements for participating:
1.The cartoon have to be new, never published before.
2.The cartoon can be produced traditionally or digitally.
3.Participants may send maximum five works. In case of including text, it must be in English.
4.Cartoons with your C.V. , address (in doc. format) and a personal photo have to be sent
to the following email address: freedom@toonsmag.com
5.Deadline: 20th of March 2017
6.Size: A3, JPG format with 300 DPI.
Awards and prizes:
1st prize: NOK 3 000.
2nd prize: NOK 2 000.
3rd prize: NOK 1 000.

Jury and exhibition:
An international jury of eight members will make a selection of the submitted cartoons which are to be exhibited in the Norwegian Cartoonist Gallery and published in www.toonsmag.com.
The jury members can be participants only in the exhibition.
Selected cartoons will be exhibited in Norway, Slovakia and in India so far and can be exhibited in some other countries. Cartoons can only be used for promotion purposes (printing, exhibition, websites, newspapers, posters and invitation cards).
We will publish the results of the contest on 31th of May 2017.

After a few years break ILUSTROVANA POLITIKA magazine again invites international cartoon contest under the name Alexandar KLAS, cartoonists who faithfully acted on the first issue of the ILUSTROVANA POLITIKA magazine 1958. He drew cartoons under the motto ALEKSANDAR KLAS LINES TO YOU. As the most award-winning cartoonist in the world in 1990, entered the Guinness Book of Records.
So he went to a legend, especially ILUSTROVANA POLITIKA magazine, which is now back on the world stage cartoons, where it has always belonged.
A. Participation.
The competition is open to all cartoonists of the world regardless of nationality, religion, age, sex and education.
B. The theme of the competition: Free.
C. Sending cartoons: Accepting exclusively original works and signed digital prints. Papers should not have been previously awarded. Sends the maximum 5. cartoons A4. In addition to the works send a photo, Curriculum Vitae (CV), and on the back of the works basic information (name, surname, address, e-mail address and telephone number).

1- The competition is open to all cartoonists.
2. The cartoons submitted to the competition may have been published before, however the submitted drawings shall not been awarded in another competition.
3- The drawing style is free. Every cartoonist can join the competition by maximum 5 works. Original cartoons could be posted or works in .jpg format of 300 dpi suitable for printing would be accepted by e-mail. We are not responsible for works in different file formats or corrupted files.
4- The cartoons shall not exceed 30X40 cm dimensions.
5- The applicants shall write down their name, surname, address, country and phone number at the back of the cartoons. A short CV shall also be added in the same envelope/mail the cartoon is posted.
6- The cartoons shall be delivered to the following address before March 20, 2017.

THEME: Open
1.The competition
is open to any cartoonist.
2.It is
acceptable to enter with cartoons that have been published
previously. However, they should not have won any prize/award
in any other competition.
3.Any
technique is allowed. The cartoonist can submit a maximum of
5 cartoons. Originals or electronic versions suitable for
printing in 300 dpi and jpg format sent by e-mail would also
be acceptable. No reposnibility will be assuemed for
documents sent in different formats and documents that can not
be opened.
4.All cartoons must be
30x40cm maximum.
5.The participants
must write their names (first and surname) in capital letters,
address, e-mail, country and telephone number; a brief CV
should be submitted in a sealed envelope.

Biennial is comprised of a competition and a curated
exhibition. The competition is held in two sections – cartoons
(in three categories) and contemporary art (works of art
executed in any technique and media – painting, sculpture,
photography, printmaking, drawing, poster, installation, video
and others).
The theme of the
competition is Laughing in the Face of.... fear, crisis,
adversity, the status quo – artists are invited to complete
the phrase and make a statement by addressing the present day
and its social, economic, political, cultural and daily
problems and challenges.
In order to
apply artists complete an online entry-form on the Biennial
website biennial.humorhouse.bg , where the
conditions of entry and additional information are published.
The closing date for application and sending works online is
12thMarch 2017, midnight Bulgarian
time (GTM+2). The selection of the works is made online by an
international jury. The artists with selected works send the
originals by post within the indicated deadline.
The Biennial website is also accessible via humorhouse , the official
website of the House of Humour and Satire.

The 23rd International Biennial of Humour and
Satire in Art is comprised of a competition and a curated
exhibition. The competition is held in two sections: cartoons

the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Bulgaria. The
Organizing Committee is chaired by the Mayor of Gabrovo.

Golden Aesop Prize – a statuette and 5 000 BGN
(appr. 2 550 euro)
Gascar Prize of the
town of Gabrovo awarded to a young artist (up to 40 yrs.) – a
statuette and 3 000 BGN (appr. 1 530 euro)
Special prize given by Skalni Materiali JS Co-Rousse – 3
000 BGN (appr. 1 530 euro)
The cartoons
competition section includes the following categories:
-Cartoons (original works signed by the artists
and digital works, up to A3 size)
Animated cartoons (gif and flash)
Printed cartoon publications (albums, catalogues, artists’
books)
Prizes :
Grand Prix – 3 000 BGN (appr. 1 530 euro)
Prize for cartoon (hand-signed originals and digital
drawings) – 2 000 BGN (appr. 1 020 euro)
Prize for animated cartoon (gif and flash formats) – 2 000
BGN (appr. 1 020 euro)
Prize for
printed cartoon publication – 1 000 BGN (appr. 510 euro)
The prizewinning works remain in the Humour
of the Peoples art collection of the Museum House of Humour
and Satire.

-A. PARTICIPATION: The organizer of the 22nd
International cartoon exhibition ZAGREB 2017 is the Croatian
Cartoonist Association. The festival is opened for everyone
regardless of nationality, age, sex, or profession.
-B. THEME HOTELS, HOSTELS, APARTMENTS AND CAMPS (Tourism
workers and tourists' funny stories)
-C. ENTRIES:
Conditions of entry:
1.
Original works and digital artworks will be accepted. Digital
artwork is to be numbered in pencil on the front and pencil
signed. Copies cannot be admitted.
2.
Entries can be either black and white or coloured.
3.
There should be the name, the surname and the adress on the
reverse side of cartoons.
4. The
cartoons must not have been previously awarded on festivals.
5. Maximum 3 entries will be submitted.
6. Size of entries is A4 or A3 format.

exhibition are given a presentation copy of the exhibition
cataloque.
Only on explicit
request will remaining (original) works be returned to the
owners in the end of the exhibition cycle (in the second half
of the year 2018).
The organizer
reserves the right to reproduce the works sent to the
festival, Zagreb 2017, as the advertising material without
being obliged to pay a fee to an author whose work may be
used.
The prize-winning works become
property of the organizer. |
