İzmir'de Cumhuriyete Doğru Karikatürler Sergisi |

| Karikatürcüler Derneği İzmir Temsilciliği'nce hazırlanan "Cumhuriyet ve Atatürk " konulu karikatürlerden oluşan sergi 27 Ekim 2016 Perşembe günü Saat;18.00 de Konak Belediyesi Neşe ve Karikatür Müzesinde açıldı. Osmanlı İmparatorluğu’nun son dönemlerinden başlayıp, Birinci Dünya Savaşı ve Kurtuluş Savaşı’nın ardından Cumhuriyetin ilanına kadar yaşanan dönemin, o günlerde yayımlanan karikatürler ile izlenebildiği sergi , Konak Belediyesi’nin Cumhuriyet Haftası Kutlamaları programı içinde 8 aralık 2016 tarihine kadar izlenebilecek. Regulations
Participation conditions
1. SATYRYKON 2017 International Exhibition is an open competition.
2. The objects of the competition are drawings, graphics and other works of fine arts and photography created with the use of optional techniques, being originals, completed within the recent two years (2016-2017), and qualified by artists to section:
SECTION I – THEME: TOLERANCE
SECTION II – JOKE AND SATIRE
(drawing without captions preferred)
3. WORKS AWARDED IN OTHER COMPETITIONS will be excluded from the competition SATYRYKON.
4. The format of works – maximum A3 (297 x 420 mm).
5. Works should be sent or delivered by February 6, 2017 (date of the postmark), packed in a protective cover to:

Organisers are not responsible for transport damages.
THE PARTICIPANTS ARE KINDLY ASKED NOT TO POST, THE WORKS VIA ELECTRONIC MEANS AS THESE WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED FOR THE COMPETITION.
6. Participation in the competition is free of charge. However, organisers reserve the right to include one of the submitted works in the Satyrykon Gallery. The work, chosen by the author, will in this way cover our costs of mailing.
7. Works should be accompanied by their author’s photo or caricature, a short biographical note and a filled application form (PLEASE USE CAPITALS).
Prizes
1. Works for the competition will be qualified by the international Jury.
2. The Jury will award the following prizes:
GRAND PRIX SATYRYKON 2017 - pure gold key and purse amounting to 8,000 PLN
2 gold medals and purses amounting to 6.000 PLN
2 silver medals and purses amounting to 5.500 PLN
2 bronze medals and purses amounting to 5.000 PLN
and 4 special prizes amounting to 4.000 PLN each
Director of Legnica Culture Centre for a photography work in amount of 4,000 PLN award
Mayor of Legnica award in amount of 4.000 PLN
The organisers are expecting extra awards for laureates: for Author of THE BEST DEBUT and Author of THE STUDENT DEBUT to be accompanied by a solo exhibition at the Satyrykon Gallery within the programme of SATYRYKON 2017 events.
Jury has the right of final distribution of the statutory prizes, change of their amount, or non – awarding them or non – awarding the GRAND PRIX SATYRYKON. Jury’s decisions are final.
The competition results will be announced on March 1, 2017 at Satyrykon web site: www.satyrykon.pl

AWARDS ARE SUBJECT TO TAXATION ACCORDING TO THE CURRENT REGULATIONS. The condition to pay the authors is their arrival for the opening of the exhibition and collection of their awards by December 15, 2017, or it can be transferred into a bank account in a currency specified by the author.
Participants’ privileges
1. Authors of work qualified to the exhibition are given a presentation copy of the exhibition catalogue.
2. Organisers provide competition prize-winners with gratuitous participation in the SATYRYKON 2017 event on June 15-18, 2017.
3. Works sent to the exhibitions will be exhibited in the country and abroad after the main exhibition, and then will be returned to their authors by the end of 2018.
WE KINDLY ASK THE AUTHORS TO NOTIFY US ABOUT ANY CHANGES TO THEIR ADDRESS DATA – RETURN ADDRESS / PHONE / E-MAIL.
Final provisions
1. Organisers reserve the right to use the sent works for SATYRYKON advertising purposes without any special fees paid to the authors: to be exhibited and reproduced in a variety of advertising materials, as well as printed and circulated in catalogues.
2. The prize-winning works become the property of the organisers and will be included in the collection of the Satyrykon Gallery.
3. The exhibition organisers are the final judges in interpretation of the regulations.
4. Sending her/his work the artist agrees to the mentioned above rules and regulations and agree to publishing of the author’s profile in the post-exhibition catalogue.

Prix 'Marco Biassoni'Regulations
1) The contest is open to all professional cartoonists,
caricaturists, illustrators and graphic artists from all
over the world. The contest is articulated in 3 sections (Graphics/Cartoon,
Satire, Caricature)
2) Theme: TEAR DOWN THE WALL
Sections A) Graphics/Cartoon | B) Satire | C) Caricature
It's possible to participate in all the sections.
3) Entries: max. 3 works. The works must be original,
UNPUBLISHED WORK, and accompanied by the author's photo or
caricature, entry-form and biography. Each work should bear
the signature or mark of the author and name, surname,
address, phone number and other data on the back. The
authors have to indicate the section for each work.
4) Size: A4 (21 x 29,7 cm)
5) Technique: Free.
The works produced with graphics programs, will be accepted
for the competition ONLY if sent in hard copy, signed by the
author. COPIES OF WORKS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. The works
submitted in digital format, via email or digital devices,
will not be considered for the awards, but only for the
exhibition and the catalogue.
6) Deadline: October 18, 2016. Artworks must be received at
Pro Loco offices by the 18th of October 2016
7) Jury: the selection of works and the awarding of prizes
is exclusive jurisdiction of the Jury, appointed by the Pro
Loco Gallarate, that will meet on 22nd of October 2016 in
Gallarate. The jury's decision is final.
8) Prizes: the Jury will award the following prizes:
Grand Prix "Marco Biassoni" for the best work
between all sections (Graphics/Cartoon, Satire, Caricature)
- 1.000 €uro + diploma
1st Prize for each section (Graphics/Cartoon, Satire,
Caricature) - 500 €uro + diploma
Special Prize of Jury for each section (Graphics/Cartoon,

Prize Osvaldo Cavandoli "Cava" (creator of the
famous character "La Linea") for the best work of
all sections, that combines humoristic beauty with the

9) Exhibition: November 6 - December 18, 2016 at the
Minoletti building, Garibaldi Square - Gallarate.
Opening ceremony: November 6, 2016 at 11:00 AM
All authors who will attend the opening ceremony are invited
to a rustic lunch.
10) Catalogue: each selected author, exhibited in shows and
published in the catalogue, will receive a complimentary
copy of the same
11) Property: the Organizers reserves the rights to
reproduce the cartoons in catalogue, newspapers, or posters
to promote the Contest and to exhibit a selection of works
in other locations in Italy and other countries. All the
works will not be returned and will be included in the
"Humour Gallarate Collection".
By submitting the works, the author accepts the rules and
regulations of the Contest and the decisions of the Jury.

organizer of IX International caricature contest is the
International magazine for satire, humor and cartoons “Nosorog”

cartoonists, from any country, any nationality, age, sex, or
profession.

The Fantastic Art of Omar Garcia.
It will be inaugurated Saturday, October 1, 2016 at 18:00 at the Studio d'Arte Andromeda Trento a solo Mexican muralist Omar Garcia.
The exhibition, which brings together a selection of paintings and photographs of the young and versatile Mexican artist, will be open to the public every day (except Sundays and 8 October) from 17:00 to 19:30 at the headquarters of the Art Studio Andromeda in via Malpaga 17 in Trento.
On the occasion of the Day of Contemporary Art on 15 October 2016, the exhibition will be open all day.
Monday, October 10, from 16:00 to 18:00 instead, the artist will meet the boys of the humorous drawing workshop for a brief practical / theoretical workshop on the art of graffiti.
During Saturday's inauguration of October 1 he will perform the singer Loretta Grisenti.

Slow City
1- The competition is open to all cartoonists.
2. The cartoons submitted to the competition may have been
published before, however the submitted drawings shall not
been awarded in another competition.
3- The drawing style is free. Every cartoonist can join the
competition by maximum 5 works. Original cartoons could be
posted or works in .jpg format of 300 dpi suitable for
printing would be accepted by e-mail. We are not responsible
for works in different file formats or corrupted files.
4- The cartoons shall not exceed 30X40 cm dimensions.
5- The applicants shall write down their name, surname,
address, country and phone number at the back of the
cartoons. A short CV shall also be added in the same
envelope/mail the cartoon is posted.
6- The cartoons shall be delivered to the following address
before March 20, 2017.

7- The results will be announced on March 30th, 2017.
8- The original cartoons delivered to the committee, will
not be returned to the applicants. The awarded and non-awarded
cartoons could be published and used with cultural reasons
by the Municipality. The applicants hereby accept these
conditions. The cartoons will be preserved in Seferihisar
Ani Evi (House with Cartoons).
9- The selected works by the jury will be displayed and
published in the album.
10- The date of the award ceremony will be announced later.
The awarded and the selected cartoons will be displayed in
an exhibition in Seferihisar Ani Evi (House with Cartoon)
starting at the same day of the award ceremony.
11- The special prize owners will be granted the
accommodation and board expenses. The 1st, 2nd, 3rd prize
owners will be granted travel, accommodation and board
expenses. The person travelling with the participant shall
cover the travel expenses by it’s own.

Azerbaijan, a country located on the Great Silk Road and a crosspoint of different civilizations, has been recognized as a place where national and cultural differences are observed, and representatives of different nations and religions coexist in an atmosphere of peace, friendship, tranquillity and mutual understanding. In our country multiculturalism has already become a lifestyle which has no other alternative. Today, establishment of Baku International Multiculturalism Centre is a good example of loyalty to the tolerance principles of the policy carried out in our country nowadays.
The Decision on organization of the 7th Global Forum of the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations in Baku in 2016 is a true evidence of the attitude of other countries in the world to the multicultural society of Azerbaijan.

Azerbaijan Cartoonists’ Union announces International
Cartoon Contest “Molla Nasreddin - Azerbaijan - 2016”.
The VII International Cartoon Contest is held by the support
of Azerbaijan Republic Culture and Tourism Ministry,
Azerbaijan Artists’ Union and Federation of Cartoonists
Organisations.
The year of 2016 was declared the Year of Multiculturalism
in Azerbaijan by the Decree of Azerbaijani President Ilham
Aliyev and in this regard “Molla Nasreddin Azerbaijan-
2016” International Cartoon Contest has been dedicated to
this subject.
The Terms of the Contest:
1. The topic of the Contest: “Multiculturalism” (Tolerance).
2. Deadline of the acceptance of works: 15 October 2016.
3. The Contest is held via internet.
4. Each cartoonist can send 2-5 works.
5. The size of cartoon works must be in 300 dpi on jpg.

6. Cartoon works will be appreciated by the International
Jury.
7. A book consisting of the best cartoons of the Contest
will be published.

Yarışma konusu: “Hayvan Sevgisi ve Deve Güreşleri”.
Yarışmada en az bir ödül “Deve Güreşi”
konusundaki karikatüre verilecektir.
2.Yarışmaya Bayraklı Belediyesi çalışanları
ve çalışanların 1.derece akrabaları
katılamayacaklardır.
3. Karikatürlerin çizim tekniği serbest olup, renkli
veya siyah beyaz olabilir. Orijinal veya kaliteli bilgisayar
çıktısı kabul edilir, ancak ıslak
imzalı olması gerekmektedir. Fotoğraf,
Fotokopi vs. kabul edilmeyecektir
4. Karikatürlerin boyutu en küçük A4 (21x30 cm), en
büyük A3 (30x42 cm) olmalıdır.
5. Yarışmacılar en fazla 3 karikatür ile yarışmaya
katılabilirler.
6. Yarışmacıların göndereceği
karikatürler daha önceden hiçbir ulusal veya uluslararası
yarışmalarda ödül almamış olması
gerekmektedir (Sergilenmiş veya
yayınlanmış olabilir). Sonuçlar açıklandıktan
sonra 5 gün içerisinde benzer veya kopya karikatürler
konusunda itirazlar, tekrar değerlendirilecek,
haklılığı tespit edilirse ödüller
iptal edilecektir. Daha sonra benzerlik konusunda itirazlar
dikkate alınmayacaktır. Jürinin kararı
kesindir.
7. Ana fikir ve teknikte yenilik taşıyan karikatürlere
özellikle önem verilecektir.
8.Karikatürist, eserin bütünüyle kendilerine ait olduğunu
taahhüt edip, Bayraklı Belediyesi ” ULUSAL
KARİKATÜR YARIŞMASI” özel şartnamesini
aynen kabul ettiklerini belirten yazılı ve
imzalı (EK- 1) belgeyi, başvurularında yer
alan ve ağzı kapalı olarak teslim edilecek
kimlik bilgilerinin olduğu zarfa koymakla yükümlüdürler.
9. Karikatürleri son gönderme tarihi 31 Ekim 2016’dir..
10.Seçici kurul Kasım ayı içerisinde toplanıp
değerlendirme yapacaktır.
11. Yarışma sonucunda Bayraklı Belediyesi
yarışmada finale kalan karikatürlerin sergisini
açacaktır.
12. Yarışmaya katılan eserler geri gönderilmeyecek
ve eserlerin kullanım hakkı Bayraklı
Belediyesi’ne ait olacaktır.
13. Karikatüristler, yarışmaya gönderilen
karikatürleri kapalı zarf içerisinde, arkasına
mutlakaad- soyad, adres, telefon, e- posta bilgilerini
yazacaktır. 18 yaş altı
katılımcılar yaşını mutlaka
belirtmelidir, dereceye girenlerden nüfus fotokopileri

gönderilen karikatürler için; postada oluşabilecek

2015
was very improtant year for OSTEN – 70-years anniversity
of its establishment (it was established 1st January 1945).
This is respectful jubilee, but therefore the responsibility
for running OSTEN and the World Gallery of Cartoons is huge…
Over the time, OSTEN has experienced different fortune –
from being completely supported by the community and
institutions, to transitional inability for realization of
the basic activities. In that transitional period, from 2005
to 2008 – four editions of the World Gallery of Cartoons
were not held, and that affects with disorder in the years
of its organizing.
During the 2014-2015, besides the regular, we have organized
three digital cartoons competitions, which fulfil three of
the missed editions, while already organized Digital Cartoon
Contest on theme ‘Beer’ is announced as the 48th WORLD
GALLERY of CARTOONS Skopje 2016. With this, the last gap in
the order of organizing the event will be filled and thus
will ensure the continuity of the World Gallery of Cartoons.
48th WORLD GALLERY of CARTOONS Skopje 2016 - Digital
Cartoons Competition on theme ‘Beer’
We have received on the competition 341 digital cartoons
from 141 cartoonists from 56 countries worldwide. We have
had very competent selector, the outstanding cartoonist
Aleksandar BLATNIK from Serbia, who had selected three
cartoonists for the equal First Awards:

Blatnik is architect, cartoonist, painter, designer and writer.
He is a member of ULUPUDS with title “outstanding artist”
and with the Award for Lifetime Achievement. He has realized
over 400 group exhibitions, around 40 solo exhibitions, and he
has won around 100 awards in Serbia and abroad.
Blatnik has published 12 books with cartoons and 2 books with
stories of the life. He has been Director on the Biennial of
Cartoons in Soko Banja, Serbia, and he has been jury member in
the international cartoons competitions many times. He has
cooperated with the magazines in France, Turkey, Greece, Italy,
Macedonia, Bulgaria, Republika Srpska, etc. |

International
Tourism Cartoon Competition is held with the cooperation of
Association of Tourism Writers and Journalists (TUYED) and
Anatolia: A Journal of Tourism Research. The objective of
the competition, which was first held in 2009, is to examine
tourism, which is one of the biggest sectors in the world,
with its various dimensions.
Theme: Future of Tourism.
Categories:
Adult Category: This category is open for the all of
cartoonists who are 17 and older. Category should be noted
when cartoons are submitting. Grand award, second award,
third award,
Professor Atila Özer recognition award and three mansions
will be given in this section. Finalist cartoons in this
section will be published in the album.
Young Category: This category is open for the cartoonists
who are 16 and younger. Category should be noted when
cartoons are submitting. Grand award and two achievement
awards will be given in this section. Finalist cartoons in
this section will be published in the album.
*Evaluation Declarations
1.Works submitted to the competition will be evaluated in
two stages.
2.In the first stage, all the works will be pre-evaluated at
a meeting held by Pre-Evaluation Selection Committee members.
At the end of this meeting, finalist works will be
determined. No more than 1/5 of the works submitted to the
competition will be taken for further evaluation.
3.Before continuing with the second stage, finalist works
will be announced on the internet between 1st and 10th
February 2017. Similar and copy works, plagiarism,
previously awarded works, and other objections will be
decided by the Pre-Evaluation Selection Committee members
and due to the reasonable objections, on which the committee
will reach a consensus, related works will be eliminated.
4.At the second stage, finalist works will be re-evaluated
by Final Selection Committee Members. This time, evaluation
will be done in two sub-stages. In the first stage, the
number of finalist woks will be reduced to 45-50 and, in the
last stage, winners will be determined.
5.Evaluation of the submitted works will be done based on
three critical issues mentioned below.
·Selection and convenience of the topic,
·Quality of humor,
·Originality of drawing.

Conditions
of The Competition:
1. The theme of the competition: "COSMOPOLIT".
Cosmopolite (man of the world) - it is the ideology of world
citizenship, which puts the interests of all mankind above
the interests of individual nations or states, and considers
man as a free individual in the whole territory of the
planet. Cosmopolitan has rich history, many fans and
opponents. Cosmopolitanism is regarded as one of the most
important foundations of human freedom. Like it or not, but
mankind has been trying in various ways to rebuild their
troubled lives on this planet...
2. The competition shall be taken: - Originals - Quality
copies (on thick paper!) - Work performed by the computer.
Work on the electronic media and e-mail will not be accepted!
3. Format: A4 (297h210mm.).
4. Number of works: maximum 5.
5. Please indicate on the reverse side of each work: name,
address, telephone number, e-mail.
6. The deadline for receipt of papers: September 15,
2016
7. Together with the works necessarily send the completed
application form with a photo.
8. Prizes: $ 900. Diplomas and prizes from sponsors.
9. The organizers are not responsible for any damage in
transit. The submitted works will not be reviewed will not
be returned and may be used by the organizers for
promotional purposes, in the publications relating to a
competition for cartoons "Independence."
10. The winners will be informed additionally. According to
the results of the competition catalog it will be published,
which will be sent to all the artists whose works will be
included in the directory. The exhibition of the best works
and awards ceremony will be held in Kiev in the shopping
center "Cosmopolite".
11. The results will be published on the website: www.cartoon.org.ua.
12. The jury's decision is final and not subject to revision.

Kartoenale 2016 – Rules And Regulations
1.Participation: The contest is open to all persons
irrespective of age and nationality.
There are 2 categories:
•Youth Category: 15 years and younger.
•Adult Category: 16 years and older.
Both professional and non-professional cartoonists are
allowed to participate in this contest.
2.Theme:The main theme is ‘Sports, from start to finish’.
This year, Amnesty International is offering a special prize
to the best cartoon with the theme ‘Right to medical
assistance’.
More information about the main theme can be found in annex
to this document.
3.Entries:
•The entries have to be submitted in digital format and
shouldn't contain any explanation of the drawing.
•The entries have to be uploaded in JPEG format with a
minimum resolution of 300 dpi (2480 x 3508 pixels)..
•Dimensions include any passe-partout 21 x 30 cm (A4).
•Number of entries per contestant: maximum 5 submissions
for each theme.
•You have to fill in your contact details at: (Click “Register-kayıt”).
•You can sign up for participation from 1 july 2016
onwards.
•Winners will be requested to send the original drawings
of the winnings cartoons.
•This should be sent to Community Olen, Dorp 1, 2250 Olen,
Belgium within 2 days after the request is made by the
organization.
4.Property Rights: Prize-winning drawings will become the
property of the organizer or theme sponsor.
The selected drawings may be used by the organizers to
promote the contest and the village of Olen.
5.Evaluation: The jury consists of artists, cartoonists and
laymen.
Decisions made by the jury cannot be challenged.
6.Catalogue/Cartoon Book: Selected entries will be
considered for inclusion in a catalogue.
The authors of these entries will receive a free copy of the
catalogue during the prize award ceremony or afterwards by
mail.
7.Deadline: 15 September 2016. The deadline is 15 September
2016 at 12.00 AM midnight.

The conditional athlete, the stubborn amateur, the dubitable
beginner, the not so talented enthusiast,...?
What happens at the stage when playing becomes sport, fad
turns into passion, when the supporter becomes a sportsman,
talent recognized?

Kosovo Comic Book Artists Association "Xhennet Comics"
is organizing the 13’th International Comics and Cartoon
Festival .
- The Festival will be held from 28 until 31 July 2016 in
Prizren KOSOVO.
-The Festival is not going to be competitive; however 10
foreign and 10 kosovar artists will be selected from the
jury to have the expenses of travel and hotel accommodation
covered for 3 days.
-All the participants of the festival will be delivered with
The Catalogue, T-shirts with Festival logo, and The
Certificate of Gratitude. Those absent will receive the
catalogue via e-mail. PDF file or they can download from the
official web site of the association .
-The Festival of Comics and Cartoons is held every year in
Prizren, Republic of Kosova,organized from the Kosovo Comic
Book Artists Association "Xhennet Comics".
-The festival is open for every artist, professional or
amateur,from all around the world.
Participating Conditions:
1. The genre and topic are free, whether for Comics or
Cartoons.
2. The Works may be done from one or more artists.
3. The works can be posted to us or thay can send throught e

Adolf
Born (12 June 1930 – 22 May 2016) was a Czech painter and
illustrator, caricaturist and film-maker. For his lasting
contribution as a children's illustrator, Born was a
finalist for the biennial, international Hans Christian
Andersen Award in 2008. His various international rewards
and honors also include the Grand Prix at the International
Salon of Cartoons in Montreal and the Knight of the Order of
Arts and Letters in France.
Born was born in the town of Ceské Velenice on the Bohemian
side of the southern border with Austria, Adolf Born got his
Visual Arts Education from 1949 to 1955 in Prague, where he
lived and worked. Since the 1960s his works have been
exhibited all over the world. In 1966, in collaboration with
Gene Deitch, Born animated the first adaptation of J. R. R.
Tolkien's The Hobbit. In 1974, Born was declared cartoonist
of the year in Montreal and he won the Palma d'Oro in
Bordighera, Italy.
One of the forms he specialised in was the bookplate (the
"exlibris"), usually using colour lithography.He
held over 100 exhibitions, illustrated hundreds of books and
designed theatre sets and costumes.
He was married and had one daughter.
The asteroid 17806 Adolfborn is named after him.
Born died on 22 May 2016 at the age of 85 |

1. PARTICIPATION: The Contest is open to all cartoonists from all over the world and beyond.
2. THEME: Organized crime More than ever, especially from the beginning of this century, organized crime has become a serious threat to social stability in many countries. In these cases the control organized crime imposes is notorious. Through economical power and physical intimidation it has managed to infiltrate every level of official government. It is responsible for controlling the press and other mass media, even assassinating journalists. It is said that it sponsors political campaigns, buy judges and other important civil servants, including top military officers. It launders huge amounts of money and owns countless "legitimate" businesses. At times it shows off the weight of its power publicly. Finally, it is deeply involved in drug production, distribution and trafficking, kidnapping, extortion, trafficking in women, terrorism and arms sales, among many other illegal activities.
3. THE PRIZES:
1st Prize: $27,000 Mexican pesos.
2nd Prize: $23,000 Mexican pesos.
3rd Prize: $17,000 Mexican pesos.
Winners will be notified by e-mail after 1st. September 2016.

International Association is an open competition.
◆ The entries for the competition include all artworks
and animation which reflect the contents about the children
with various subjects by qualified artists using a variety
of techniques. The children are encouraged to submit their
works for competition, exhibition and publication.

1.Category (A):Still image works
Single-frame work, comic strips, illustration, caricature,
drawings, graphics and other works of original fine art.
2.Category (B):Animation works
All animation works suitable for children submitted must be
1-22 minutes in length.Any of the following animation types
are acceptable: computer-assisted or Computer-generated,
stop-motion (including clay animation), 2D works, 3D works,FLASH,
puppet animation, paper-cutting works, in fact, any format
except live action!
◆ Qualification
1.Entry for the Category (A) (Still Image Works):
[a] Maximum A3 (297mm x 420 mm), minimum A4(210mm×297mm).
[b] Any printing submission will not be accepted (work can
be submitted in either computer or hand drawing; however,
the electronic-version of submission is definitely required).
[c] Participants can also send electronic edition( scanning
copy) with a minimum size of “300 dpi” in “.TIFF” or
“.JPG” to cmiassn@126.com.
2.Entry for the Category (B) (Animated Works):
[a] All works must be PAL formal with high definition(prefer
to be minimum size of 720×576，minimum
bit rate of 1000 bps)
[b] Animated submissions (including FLASH) should be
submitted in “.MPG” or “.AVI” or “.MOV” format
and 5 still images are required separately, which is used to
present character and background with a minimum size of “300
dpi” in “.TIFF” or “.JPG”. For each FLASH works, a
copy of “.SWF” submission are required.
[c] In case of multiple submissions, please separate each
individual submission. An uninterrupted multi-work
submission is not allowed.
3.Language:
[a] All works are preferred to be subtitled in English.
[b] The story background, synopsis, brief introduction, and
character description are required in either Chinese or
English electronic-version.
4.Form and photo
Artwork should be accompanied by their author’s photo or
caricature, a short biographical note and a completed
Application Form (PLEASE USE CAPITAL LETTERS).
5. Copyright
The applicant must be the copyright owner of the submission.
◆ Awards and prizes:
1. Adult Group
Artwork submitted for competition will be judged by an
International Jury.The Jury will award the following cash
prizes along with a certificate for each award.
2 gold medals, each 1500 USD (1 for category A and 1 for
category B)
4 silver medals, each 1000 USD (2 for category A and 2 for B
category)
4 bronze medals, each 800 USD (2 for category A and 2 for B
category)
20 special prizes , each 300 USD (10 for category A and 10
for B category)
[a] The jury has the right of final distribution of
statutory prize and all of the jury’s decisions are final.
[b ]Organizers plan to award the artist with the best debut
and will give him/her the opportunity for an individual
exhibition at the Gallery which will be included in the 2016
program.
[b] AWARDS ARE SUBJECT TO TAXATION ACCORDING TO THE CURRENT
REGULATIONS.
2. Children Group
Artwork submitted for competition will be judged by an
International Jury. The Jury will award the certificate to
the finalists.
[a]Four winners of children group would be invited to attend
“Libo International Children Animation and Comics Festival
2016” which will take place in Libo, Guizhou Province. And
organizing committee of ICACF will cover one person’s
round trip flight tickets and accommodation in Libo.
[b]Submission finalists would be included in the album. And
the certificates and albums will be sent to the finalists.
◆ Participant privileges

◆ Competition provisions
1.Organizers reserve the right to use all submitted artwork
for advertising purposes without any special fees paid to
the artists that include being exhibited and reproduced in a
variety of advertising materials as well as printed and
circulated in catalogues.
2.The prize-winning works become the property of the
organizers and will be included in the collection of the
Gallery.
3.The exhibition organizers are the final judges in
interpretation of the rules and regulations.
4.By sending his/her work, the artist agrees to the
mentioned above rules and regulations .
5.By sending his/her work, the artist agrees to the
publication of the author's profile in the post-exhibition
album.

Konseyi ve Jüri Özel Ödülleri de verilecek. Ödül

beklediği Uluslararası Eskişehir Karikatür
Festivali’nin 9.’su bu yıl “Dünya Mirası”
temasıyla gerçekleşecek.
*Aktifelsefe Yeni Yüksektepe Kültür Derneği
Eskişehir Şubesi’nin Eskişehir Büyükşehir
Belediyesi ile ortaklaşa gerçekleştirdikleri
festival bu yıl 24 Kasım 2016 – 11 Aralık
2016 tarihlerinde gerçekleşecek.
Geçtiğimiz yıllarda İstanbul’da düzenlediğimiz,
“Karma” konulu ilk festival(1997), “Doğu -
Batı” temalı 2. festival(2000), “Su ve
Yaşam” temalı 3. festival(2003), “Küresel Isınma”
konulu 4. Festival(2005), “Kültürlerarası Hoşgörü”
konulu 5. festival(2007), Enerji“ konulu 6. Festival(2009)
Dünyanın çeşitli yerlerinden karikatüristlerin
katılımıyla gerçekleştirildi. 2012
yılında 7. Karikatür Festivalini “Felsefe”
konusuyla Anadolu Üniversitesi işbirliğiyle
Eskişehir’de gerçekleştirdik. (Toplam ortalama
38 ülkeden, 561 karikatürist, 1651 eser). 2014 yılında
ise 8. Karikatür Festivalini “Gönüllülük” konusuyla
tekrar Anadolu Üniversitesi işbirliğiyle
Eskişehir’de gerçekleştirdik. (45 farklı
ülkeden, 163 karikatürist 511 karikatür)
9. Uluslararası Eskişehir Karikatür Festivali adını
alacak bu festival Aktiffelsefe - Yeni Yüksektepe Kültür
Derneği ve Eskişehir Büyükşehir Belediyesi
tarafından düzenlenecektir.
Bu yıl dokuzuncusunu düzenlediğimiz
Uluslararası Eskişehir Karikatür Festivali’nin
konusu, “Dünya Mirası“ olarak seçildi.
*KONU: “Kültür Mirası” insanlığın
kolektif hafızasını tanımlayan üç
boyutlu belgeler. Anıtlar, yapı toplulukları,
arkeolojik alanlar gibi somut miras unsurları ve törenler,
ritüeller, geleneksel danslar, yerel üretimler, bilgi
beceriler gibi yaşayan miras unsurları kültür
mirasının zenginliğini oluşturan
değerler.
Son yıllarda sıklığı
artış gösteren ve etkileri gittikçe artan doğal
afetler, küresel iklim değişikliği ve dünyanın
farklı coğrafyalarında devam etmekte olan
savaşlar, çatışmalar olağanüstü
nitelikleri ile insanlığa ilham veren, aidiyet ve
devamlılık duygusu sağlayan kültür mirasını
ve kullanıcılarını
varlığını tehdit etmekte ve kolektif
hafızanın kaybına neden olmakta.
*AMAÇ: Doğal afetler, Küresel iklim değişikliği,
Savaş ve Çatışmalar nedeniyle yok olma
tehlikesi altında bulunan Kültür Mirasının
Korunması ile ilgili olarak toplumda “farkındalık
yaratmak”, “düşünmeye teşvik etmek” ve en
önemlisi “katkıda bulunmaya özendirmek”.
Aktiffelsefe - Yeni Yüksektepe Kültür Derneği ve
Eskişehir Büyükşehir Belediyesiolarak, tüm
karikatüristlerin “Dünya Mirası“ konusu
hakkındaki değişik yorumlarını
bekliyoruz.
Bu festivalde sergilenecek eserler daha sonra, Türkiye’de
İstanbul, Ankara, İzmir, Eskişehir, Adana,
Antalya, Van, Bursa, İzmit, Mersin, Aydın, Manisa
illerindeki şubeler ve Aktiffelsefe - Yeni Yüksektepe
Kültür Derneği’nin yurtdışında
işbirliği yaptığı diğer
kuruluşlar tarafından düzenlenen organizasyonlar
aracılığı ile sergilenerek,
sanatseverlerin ilgisine sunulacaktır.

Mirası“ ile ilgili sergi Eskişehir Büyükşehir

olduğu gibi dünyanın önde gelen 200’den fazla
karikatüristin katılması bekleniyor.
2)PANEL: Sanat, bilim ve felsefe alanlarında
davetlilerin katılımı ile “Dünya Mirası“
konulu bir sempozyum gerçekleştirilerek, aynı
tema üzerinde disiplinler arası bir çalışma
imkanı yaratılacak.
3)KONSER: AFMA müzik grubunun konseri geçekleşecektir.
4)Tiyatro gösterisi: “Dünya Mirası“ üzerine

TERMS
OF PARTICIPATION :
Theme:
1)The theme of the exhibition is “World Heritage”.
Cartoons not related with the main theme and the sub- themes,
may not take part in the festival and the exhibition. The
final decision is to be given by the Organizational
Committee, and this committee works with cartoonist Tan Oral’s
chairmanship.
Technique:
1) Technique: Free. Black/white or colored.
2) Dimension: A4 or A3. No passé partout, no frame.
Shipment (Possible by2 ways):

Cartoons should have 300 dpi resolution and JPEG formatted.

Sending Back the cartoons:
1) All cartoons will be kept in the cartoon archives of
Active Philosophy-YeniYüksektepe Cultural Association and
archives of Eskisehir Metropolitan Municipality and will not
be
sent back, unless there is a special request from the artist
to send his/her work back.
Usage Rights of the cartoons:
All the usage rights of the cartoons belong to Active
Philosophy-YeniYuksektepe Cultural Association without any
commercial purposes and Eskisehir Metropolitan Municipality,partner
of the 9th International Cartoon Festival. The originals may
be printed or exhibited in Turkey or abroad; used for the
books, magazines, catalogues, brochures, VCD’s and DVD’s
to be printed by Active Philosophy-YeniYuksektepe and its
corporative associations in Turkey or abroad; sent to
another association in Turkey or abroad for the purpose of
exhibiting or printing without commercial purpose by Active
Philosophy- YeniYuksektepe. Even if the cartoonist sends the
originals or the copies to Active philosophy-YeniYuksektepe,
the cartoonist will be the owner of the publication and
financial rights. Cartoons that were exhibited in the
festival will be covered under a catalog. A copy of the
catalog will be uploaded on the Internet web site http://cartoonistfest.organd
www.eskisehir-bld.gov.trfree for download. News covering the
festival will also be available on the same web sites. The
originals may be used in the news coverage about the
Festival in the Print and TV Media. Both collaborators
Active Philosophy YeniYüksektepe Cultural Association and
Eskisehir Metropolitan Municipality are responsible for
their own publications.
Deadline:The deadline for the cartoons to arrive to the
Festival Organizational Committee is 23rd October 2016.

Bu
yıl 19. Kez düzenlenen Ulusal ve Uluslararası
Çocuk Şenliğinde açılan karikatür sergisi
yoğun ilgi gördü. Gaziemir Belediyesi Karikatür
Atölyesi öğrencinin sergi açılışını
Belediye Başkanı Hail İbrahim Şenol,
Karikatür Öğretmeni Mustafa Yıldız,
belediye meclis üyeleri ve davetli sanatseverler yaptı.
Serginin 22 minik çizeri açılışta
hazır bulundu. Başkan Şenol, hepsiyle tek-
tek tanışıp karikatürleri hakkında
yorum yaptı. Sergi karikatürlerinin teması olan
“Barış ve Dans”dan oluşan “Çocukça
Mizah” dergisini çok beğendiğini dile getirdi.
Şenliğin konukları arasında yer alan
Sinoplu çocukların karikatürleri de sergilendi.
Çevre ve barış temalı karikatürler beğeni
kazandı. Çeşitli etkinliklerle süren
şenliğin tadını çocuklar doyasıya
çıkardı.

are organizing cartoon contest on theme "Zoological
Garden" (ZOO)
A. Participation: The contest is open to all cartoonists all
over the world, regardless nationality, age, sex or
profession..
B. Cartoon theme: Zoological Garden (zoo)
C. Entries: Original works, digital prints, digital works
sent by E-mail will be accepted.
The cartoons must not have be previously awarded.
Author may enter up to 5 works. Size of entries is a A4 or
A3.
1-Send By Post: Original works and digital prints with data
on the reverse side (name, surname, mail address, e-mail,
country) should be sent on:

D. Deadline: Entry deadline is May 15, 2016.
E. Prizes and awards:First prize 1000 Euros, Second prize
500 Euros, Third prize 300 Euros, Some special prizes and
diplomas.
*F. Exhibition: The exhibition will be staged in Zoological
Garden Belgrade (BEO ZOO VRT) from July 12 to September 1,
2016.
The exhibition will be shown in other towns in Serbia and
abroad.
*G. Catalogue : All cartoonists whose artworks are selected
for the exhibition will receive catalogue free of charge.
H. Other conditions:The sent works become to the property of
the organizers.
The organizers reserves the right to reproduce the works
sent to the contest without being obliged to pay a fee to
the authors and will be included in the collection of the
portal Animal Cartoon and ULUPUDS.
Sending her/his works the cartoonist agrees to the mentioned
above rules.

R
U L E S of HumoDEVA 2016
1. The 10th HumoDEVA ICC is an open competition for
cartoonists all over the world. The participation is free of
charge. For all the cartoonists accepted in the contest, the
drawings will be displayed FREE OF CHARGE on HumoDEVA’s
site.
2. The artworks must be presented in a FREE THEME - MY BEST
OF 2015, (your best cartoons made in 2015) or/and on THE
THEMES - I. VOTE! BUT... YOUR VOTE COUNTS? II. ...10!
3. Deadline: May 7, 2016.
4. You can submit max 5 works, made in 2015, for FREE THEME
and max 5 works for each THEME. The cartoons must not
contain text. The name of the cartoons must contain the
entrant’s family name, first name, country and title of
work (in english). The works must be digitized in 300 DPI
resolution, RGB color mode, in JPG format, with the maximum
limit of 3 MB.
5. Please send at the e-mail address humodeva@gmail.com your
cartoons, the author’s photo or caricature and a short
biography in English, including date of birth, education,
profession, citizenship, awards, publications and
exhibitions.
6. The cartoons submitted to the contest will be exhibited
on the HumoDEVA 2016 web site for the attention and
objection of all cartoonists to prevent similarity, copying
and steeling. Any cartoon which is similar, copied or stolen
will not be awarded. The contest results will be announced
on the HumoDEVA 2016 web site .
7. The Jury will award the following prizes for the best
works, no mater the categories:

SILVER PRIZE
400$, Special Honor Diploma and a Personal Gallery on

BRONZE PRIZE

*Jury’s decisions are final. Other Special Prizes offered
by the sponsors may be awarded.
The prizes can be paid in Deva or can be posted to the cost
of the receiver. The organizer does not assume any liability
regarding taxes or bank charges. The original drawings of
the prize winning entries should be sent in maximum two
weeks from the results announcement, well wraped and
protected against damages. The mail address for sending

8. By participating, entrants grant the organizing body the
right to use their entries as advertising for the HumoDEVA

internet and other media, separate promotional printed works
such as posters, leaflets, etc., promotional gifts by the
city council and/or cartoon contest organization, calendars,
etc) without any special fees paid to the authors.

Müzesinde Konak Belediyesi ile Karder İzmir
işbirliği ile 20, 21,22 nisan günlerinde öğrencilere
yönelik karikatür ve satirik heykel çalşmaları
düzenlendi. Kazim Karabekir, Mersinpinar Bogazici,Serife
Eczacıbaşı orta okullarından öğrencilerin
katılımıyla 3 gün boyunca sabah ve öğleden
sonra olmak üzere gerçekleştirilen çalışmalarda
Birol Cun, Ayten Kose, Hasan Efe ,Abidin Kose, Cemalettin
Guzeloglu ve Mehmet Aslan egitmen olarak
katıldılar. |

İZKAR Kitap Fuarındaydı... |

İzmir
Karikatürcüler Platformu’nun (İZKAR), 21.
İzmir Kitap Fuarındaki standı mizahçıların,
sanatçıların ve siyasetçilerin uğrak yeri
oldu. Bayraklı Belediyesi atölye öğrencilerinin
“Kitaplar Arasında” sergisi açıldı. Fuar
sürecince Üstay Herdem’in yazdığı,
Mustafa Yıldız’ın çizdiği “Şevki&
Sıtkı” Karikatürlü Diyaloglar kitabı yüzlerce
kişiye yazar ve çizeri tarafından imzalandı.
Ahmet Zeki Yeşil’in “Senkronu Kaçmış Gülüşler”
kitabı da adeta kapışıldı.
Bayraklı Mizah Dergisinin ücretsiz dağıtıldığı
standa çocukların ilgisi büyük oldu. Derginin
kadrosuna yeni çizerler katılırken, Karikatür
atölyeleri için genç çizerler kayıt
yaptırdı. Önümüzdeki günlerde İzmir’de
yapılacak olan 3 ayrı karikatür yarışmasının
tanıtımı yapıldı.
Karikatürist Lütfü Çakın portre karikatür
çizerken, önemli bir konuya tanıklık etti. Çakın’ın
çizdiği karikatür ile evlilik teklifi yapan bir
genç, evliliğe ilk adımını İZKAR
Standında atmış oldu. Gelin adayı
karikatür balonunda kendine ayrılan bölüme evet yazdığında
etrafındakiler tarafından adeta alkış
yağmuruna tutuldu. |

Çocuk Dünyasının Ressamları Bir Müzeye
Kavuşuyor... |

Ege
Üniversitesi’nin uzak görüşü ve sanatsever yaklaşımı
sonucunda çocuk dünyasının ressamları ilk
kez bir müzeye kavuşuyor. Ege ÜniversitesiKağıt
ve Kitap Sanatları Müzesi’nin ek bölümü olarak kısa
süre önce restorasyonunu tamamlanan Bornova Levantenköşklerinden
bir tanesi çocuk kitapları resimleyen 27 sanatçının
orijinal eserlerine evsahipliği yapacak.
Kağıt ve Kitap Sanatları Müzesi’nin bu
yeni bölümü 22 Nisan 2016, Cuma sabahı Saat 11.00’de
törenle açılıyor.
Bilimsel etkinliklerin ve eğitimin
tamamlayıcısı olarak sanat merkezleri, müze
ve koleksiyonlarıyla, EgeArt gibi sanat festivalleriyle
yaşamımızı zenginleştiren Ege
Üniversitesi bu günlerde bir ilke imza atıyor. Uygar
dünyada pek çok örneğine
rastladığımız resimli çocuk kitapları
müzelerinin bir benzerini İzmir’de kuruyor. Müzelerin
çocuk eğitimindeki rolünü önemseyen Ege
Üniversitesi çocuklar içinkitap resimleyen sanatçılarıKağıt
ve Kitap Sanatları Müzesi’nin çatısı
altında toplayarak hem çocuk kültürüne hizmet
ediyor, hem de illustrasyon sanatını yüceltiyor.
6. EgeArt Sanat günleri sürecinde Ege Üniversitesi
Rektörü Prof. Dr. Candeğer Yılmaz,
Kağıt ve Kitap Sanatları Müzesi kurucusu ve
yöneticisi Nedim Sönmez ve Egeart Sanat günlerinin
davetli ressamı Can Göknil arasında
projelendirilen “Çocuk Dünyasının
Ressamları”bir bölüm olarakmüze kapsamına
alınıyor. EgeArt Sanat Günleri değerli bir
projeye yol açmış oluyor.
Çalışmalar esnasında çocuk dünyası
ressamlarıyla iletişim kuran ressam/yazar Can Göknil
projenin organizasyonunu üstleniyor ve “Zaman içinde pek
çok çizerin/ressamın eserleriyle bize
katılacağına inanıyorum. Şimdilik
yirmi beşi Türk ve ikisi İranlı olmak üzere
yirmi yedi sanatçıyız.
Yaptığımız iş, yani çocuk kitapları
resimlemek, çok önemli. Çocuk masumiyetini koruyoruz.
Resimlerimizi çocukların yaşlarına ve
algılarına göre kurguluyoruz. Hayal gücümüz
engin, çizgilerimiz duyarlı ve naif.
Amacımız çocukları görsel sanatların
ve edebiyatın estetiğiyle
tanıştırarak yaşamlarını
renklendirmek. Ege Üniversitesi’ne ilkelerimize değer
verdiği için teşekkür ediyoruz,” diyor.

İzmir tarafından düzenlenen, Ege Üniversitesi
50.Yıl Sanat Köşkü'nün nisan ayı
programı içindeki karikatür sunum ve söyleşilerinin
ilki 5 nisan 2016 günü yapıldı. Yrd. Doç.Dr.
Cem Güzeloğlu'nun "Karikatür Neydi, Ne Oldu
?" başlıklı sunumu ilgi ile izlendi.
İzmir Üniversitesi Güzel Sanatlar Fakültesi Görsel
İletişim Tasarımı Bölümü öğretim
üyesi olan çizer Cem Güzeloğlu , karikatürün
günümüze hangi aşamalardan geçerek geldiğini görseller
eşliğinde anlattı. Sunumun ardından
"Özündeki mizaha ve eleştiriye uzanan amorf
çizgilerin evrimine dair" söyleşi gerçekleştirildi. |

competition Brain Sneezing - from kalokagathia to
hypochondria and back.
Topic 2016: FREE FEELING
Freedom of Thinking, Speech and Movement
Deadline: 31th May 2016
Competition terms :
Each author can send maximum 5 original works.
The competition is open to everybody and is not restricted
in terms of artistic design methods.
The format of works should not exceed the A4 dimension.
The competition is non-anonymous.
The works can be sent either online, by filling the
electronic application form, or via regular mail, with each
work signed on the reverse with the author´s name and their
address.
The rewarded works will become the property of the organiser.
The results will be announced on the 1st July 2016 and the
winners will be awarded the following prizes:
1st prize: 500.00 EUR
2nd prize: 300.00 EUR
3rd prize:200.00 EUR

The competition Jury reserves the right to grant other special prizes or not to grant some of the prizes.
The organisers will accept all the works that will be delivered online at the web address:
The organisers reserve the right to publish selected works in promotional materials and to re-install the exhibition. The catalogue will be sent to each competitor whose works will be published in the catalogue.
The authors agree that their works become the property of the organisers at no charge, that copies of their works might be made and used in re-installing the exhibition in other venues and that their works might be published free of charge in order to promote the exhibition.
