"KOMİK İÇERİKLİ ESERLER" Karikatür, Fotoğraf, Heykel gibi çalışmaların son katılım 25 Şubat 2018 olup 16-24 Mart 2018 tarihinde ise sergi açılacaktır...
6. Görsel Mizahi Yapıtlar Sergisine katılma şartları;
1. Karikatür, fotoğraf, heykel disiplinlerindeki eserleri içermektedir.
2. Sergiye, ilgili disiplinlerde kent içi-kent dışında faaliyet gösteren Trabzonlu sanatçılar ile “Trabzon’dan yolu geçen” sanatçılar katılabilecektir.
3. Konu sınırlaması olmakla birlikte sergilenecek eserlerde ana tema mizah içerikli olmalıdır.
4. Eserlerini geliş-gidiş (kargo) giderleri katılımcıya aittir. 
5. Her katılımcı bastırılacak sergi albümünde kullanılmak üzere bilgisayar ortamında word dosyasına yazılı kısa özgeçmişi (özgeçmişler, ayrılan sayfa olanaklarına göre kısaltılabilir), .jpg formatında 300 dp yüksek çözünürlükte taranmış kişisel fotoğrafı ve sergiye katılacağı eserlerin kayıtlı olduğu CD/DVD’yi öncelikli olarak Trabzon Sanatevi (Cumhuriyet Mh. Özgür Cd. No:18 Ortahisar/Trabzon) adresine kargo ya da elden teslim edebileceği gibi büyük boyutlu dosyaların gönderilmesine imkan sağlayan we-Transfer, Google Drive gibi programlar üzerinden Mizah Sanatı Derneği’nin e-posta mizahsanatidernegi@gmail.com adresine 15 Şubat 2018 tarihine kadar göndermeleri gerekmektedir.
6. Sanatçılar karikatür, fotoğraf ve heykel alanında toplamda en fazla 4 eser ile katılabilecektir. Sergi mekanının ve sergi albümünün imkanları dikkate alınarak katılımcı sanatçılar tarafından eserler öncelik sırasına göre numaralandırılacaktır. Bu işlem azaltılmaya gidilmesi durumunda organizasyona kolaylık sağlayacaktır.
7. Karikatür ve fotoğraflarda büyük kenar ebadı70 cm'den büyük olmayacaktır. Eserlerin asılabilmesi için arkalarının askı sistemine uygun olarak hazırlanması gerekmektedir.
8. Katılımcılar, sergilemeye hazır halde basılı eserlerini, zarar görmeyecek şekilde ambalajlayarak kargo ile ya da elden Trabzon Sanatevi’ne teslim edebilirler. Eser teslim etme süresi 15 Şubat -25 Şubat 2018 tarihleri arasında yapılacak ve 25 Şubat 2018 tarihinde saat 17.00'da sona erecektir. Bu tarihten sonra gelen eserler dikkate alınmayacaktır.
9. Organizasyon Kurulu, sergilemeye yönelik düzenleme yapma yetkisine sahiptir.
10. Belirtilen şartları taşımayan eserler ve şartnamede istenenleri yerine getirmeyen sanatçıların eserleri sergileme ve sergi albümü dışında bırakılacaktır. Basımı yapılan 5. Görsel Mizahi Yapıtlar Albümü, 16 Mart 2018 tarihinde açılışı yapılacak olan 6. Görsel Mizahi Yapıtlar Sergisinde sanatçılarımıza ve sanatseverlerimize takdim edilecektir.

Aphorism:
• In this category each author can participate with maximum of 10 aphorisms, printed in three copies, completed with code and particulars about the author, and set in sealed envelope.
• The authors are allowed to participate with more works, each as group of 10 (ten) aphorisms and marked with particular code.
Caricature:
• In this category, the authors can participate and send 3 caricatures, maximum. The technique is on their own choice, and dimensions A/4.
• Particulars about the authors should be written at the back side of the work.
Contest due date: The works will be accepted up to: January 20, 2018, at latest.
Awards:
• Three main prizes will be awarded: Golden, Silver and Bronze Plaque .
• The Organizer retains the right to award some additional prizes.

On Sunday, 1st April 2018, an exhibition of the best competing works, a festive announcement of the results and the handing of prizes to the most successful authors of the 24th competition in accordance with the Jury´s decision will take place as follows:
GRAND PRIZE (Grand Prix) Golden Keg and 500 €
1st Prize Small GOLDEN KEG and 200 €
2nd Prize Small GOLDEN KEG and 150 €
3rd Prize Small Golden KEG and 100 €
The Jury of the competition reserves the right not to award some of the prizes, to modify the amounts of the financial rewards and/or to award more prizes and/or honorary mentions.
The organisers will accept for the competition all works that will be delivered at the address of the Šarišská gallery in Prešov by 3rd March 2018.
The organisers of the competition reserve the right to publish selected works in promotional materials and to reinstall the exhibition.
The diploma and the exhibition catalogue will be received in print by every awarded author and in the electronic form by every participating author who also provides his or her e-mail address. Main prizes and financial rewards can be received by an awarded author only in person or through a person authorised by him/her.
Competition rules:
1. Each author can send at maximum five original works, including graphic techniques.
2. The competition is open to anybody and everybody, and it is not restricted in terms of artistic design methods.
3. The formats of the works should not exceed the A4 dimensions.
4. The competition is non-anonymous. Each work should be signed on the reverse and bear the author´s full address.
5. The rewarded works will become property of the BEER GALLERY in Prešov.

It is open to students of all grades and types of schools and to professional artists from all over the world. They are required to submit one or more works developing the themes of peace, tollerance, fight against any form of racism and of defense of human rights. Each competitor may take part in two ways:
1) Fax [number fax +39 0427 40898] or e-mail, JPG format max 1,5 Mb [e-mail: istsuperiore@faxforpeace.eu] one or more pictures or works of visual art. 2) Send SHORT FILMS AND CARTOONS of maximum 5 minute length that could also be forwarded in compressed format to the following e-mail address [istsuperiore@faxforpeace.eu] or forwarded by mail to [via degli Alpini, 1 - 33097 Spilimbergo (Pn) Italia]. The videos can be realized in the most common formats (AVI, MPEG, Real Video, QuickTime, Video for Windows ecc.).
WHEN Works from each competitor (individual artist, student or class) will be accepted starting from Sunday November 26th 2017 at 8.00 a.m. until Wednwsday February 28th 2018 at 12.00 p.m
EXHIBITION On each work it is necessary to indicate full name, name of school and grade/class (if students), telephone and fax number and/or e-mail address, city, country. The works will be exhibited as they are received in an “in progress” exhibition which will open on Sunday 26th November, 2017 at 5.00 p.m. at the Istituto Superiore di Spilimbergo - Il Tagliamento (via degli Alpini, 1 - Spilimbergo, Pordenone, ITALY). Single students will also have to specify their school address and the class attended. Competitors implicitly authorize the school to reproduce and use their works in the catalogue and in different media for noprofit activities. The organization cannot be held responsible in case of theft, damage or loss of the works. Works will not be returned or retransmitted to their authors. The exhibition will close on March 31st, 2018. A catalogue will be printed, reproducing a wide selection of the works received (and present in the catalogue), which later will be sent to competitors free of charge, previous formal request.
THE JURY The jury of experts in communication, art critics and representatives of the school world will select 6 works among those received within the expiry date, according to their development of proposed themes and their effectiveness.

2018 - is the year of the 10th anniversary of the “Molla Nasreddin”- Azerbaijan” International Cartoon Contest. On this occasion the theme of the “Molla Nasreddin” International Cartoon Contest organized in 2018 is “Jubilee”. 
The IX International Cartoon Contest is held by the support of Azerbaijan Republic Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Azerbaijan Artists’ Union and Federation of Cartoonists Organizations.
The Terms of the Contest:

YARIŞMA HAKKINDA:Yeşilay, kamuoyunun ve özellikle gençlerin bağımlılıklara karşı dikkatini çekmek, bu önemli konuda düşünmelerini sağlamak amacıyla Uluslararası Yeşilay Karikatür Yarışması’nı hayata geçirdi. Yarışma ile uluslararası arenada; çizimler ve mizahla bağımlılıklara dikkatlerin çekilmesi, farkındalığın uyandırılması ve kamuoyunun özellikle de gençlerin bağımlılıklara karşı düşünmelerini ve refleks geliştirmelerinin sağlanılması amaçlanıyor. 
YARIŞMANIN KONUSU: Yarışmanın ana temasını alkol, uyuşturucu madde, tütün ve teknoloji bağımlılığı oluşturmaktadır. Ana temanın alt başlıklarında ise çizilen karikatürlerde aşağıdaki konulardan hareket edilecektir. Aşağıda geçen Bağımlılıklar kelimesi alkol, uyuşturucu madde, tütün ve teknoloji bağımlılığını kapsamaktadır.

DİL: Türkçe veya İngilizce ( Gerektiği halde yazı kullanılacaktır. Ancak sözel/yazılı değil görsel anlatım ön planda tutulacaktır. )

A Colorful Human World!
"It was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair", Dickens wrote. Words, we recognize only too well. Or rather, we instantly recognize the despair, seeing it in the eye of refugees, who travel across the sea in spite of the danger, because staying would be infinitely more dangerous. We see the refugees, who never make it to Europe, drowning in the attempt, and those who make it ashore, only to be met with hate speech and the suspicion that they are extremists. Mainstream media are stimulating that populist speech, which incites hate, while right wing parties everywhere in Europe are calling on the nation state and closing of the borders to the exclusion of others. There is always some "other" to blame for everything. In fact, our societies consist of many "others" at the risk of a situation of fracture in which everyone is made scared of one another. Cartoonists have an important task at hand, and The International Cartoon Contest & Exhibition 2018 invites all cartoonists to make us forget to be scared and find different ways of (re)connecting. Cartooning at its finest is a spring of hope. It gives us ways to critically rethink and find alternatives to bridge the "us" and "them". We get to see the human in the other. Differences in culture or language are no longer too strange or too much to take in. We see that differences are what make for a colorful world. We deserve to be living in a colorful human world and The International Cartoon Contest & Exhibition 2018 invites all cartoonists to take part to make it a reality.

CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION:

The drawings may be used in the advertising campaign of the exhibition. On no account should drawings or copies be sold. Commercial exploitation of part or the whole exhibition is prohibited.
Copyright of the exhibition belongs to the organizers.

World Press Cartoon has in 2018 the thirteenth edition and continues to hold its main event in the city of Caldas da Rainha. We have introduced in this edi- tion an important innovation: the admissibility of works produced for online publications. In order to ful l the high quality standards that are the touch of this organization, we maintain the last monetary prizes structure, with a Grand Prix that has the value of ten thousand euros. To distinguish, exhibit, promote and award the best drawings published in the world press is still our mission. Caricatures, editorial and gag cartoons that will make a retrospective view of the world’s current a airs in 2017, views from di erent cultures, drawings where the cartoonists picture and criticize the ways of the world with humour and a sharp eye. The Jury’s task is always hard: many works from various cultures and a growing quality. To make judging easier and to guarantee the quality and rigour to the nal selection, it is of the most importance that the authors read carefully the regulation and present their works in conformity with the rules it de nes. A universal saloon demands a universal participation and clear and equal rules for everyone. Because the World Press Cartoon aims at gathering the best in the interna- tional production of humour drawings published in the printed or on-line jour- nalism every year, this is a meeting the professional cartoonists should not miss!
1. Specifications and Scope:
a)TheWorld Press Cartoon covers three main categories: Editorial Cartoon, Caricature and Gag Cartoon.
b) The World Press Cartoon is not a thematic event. Its objective is to distinguish the best cartoons created and published in 2016.
c) In the category EDITORIAL CARTOON, all entries must represent events and issues that marked the news in 2017.
d) In the category CARICATURE, only works in the strictest sense of the term will be considered, i.e., exclusively humorous portraits.
e) In the category GAG CARTOON, the works to be considered will feature subjects that are not directly related to current issues.
f) Authors are free to submit what they consider to be their best work, although clearly those personalities, themes and events of a more universal nature will be best suited to such an international salon as the World Press Cartoon.
2. EXxhibition:
A) The exhibition of the selected works and the awards ceremony will take place in the Spring of 2018, at CCC – Cultural and Congress Center of Caldas da Rainha.
3. Eligibility:
a) Only the originals of the works will be accepted.
b) Top quality printed versions of works produced by digital or mixed techniques will be considered originals when they are signed by hand by the author, who must indicate the techniques and software used on the competition application form.
c) The original les of works produced by digital or mixed techniques must also be sent, either on CD, DVD or ash drive.
d) The format of the works cannot exceed the European standard A3: 420 x 297 mm.
e) Cartoonists are permitted to submit to the competition one original entry in each of the three categories of the salon: Editorial Cartoon, Caricature and Gag Cartoon. f)Itisanessentialpre  - requisite for eligibility that the works were originally printed between  January 1 and December 31, 2016 in printed newspapers or magazines, published on a regular basis and on sale to the public, or in professional online publications of recognized journalistic nature.
g) As proof of compliance with the preceding paragraph, each original must be accompanied by the respective full page of publication, on which the date and title of the newspaper or magazine is clearly visible (note that cuttings, pasted versions, photocopies or digital prints of the publication are not acceptable).
h) In the case of on-line media, each original must be accompanied by a high-resolution print of a screenshot of the page on which it was published, where the date and title are clearly visible, authenticated on the back by the publication’s editor.
i) To con rm the admissibility of cartoons published online, the link to the publication page must be correctly lled in the registration form and remain functional until March 31, 2018.
j) The author must attach the heading of the newspaper or magazine in which the competing works have been published, with size and quality that allows their reproduction.
k) If the original work appears with a title, caption or any other wording, these must be translated into English, to be clearly written on the identi cation label that will be sent with the original.
l) The works that compete in Caricature should mention the name of the caricatured ones.
m) The participating works should be received by the organization’s secretariat in Lisbon by January 31, 2018.
4. Packaging:
a) Participating works must be posted in at packaging, between two hard boards.
b) On the packaging, clearly visible, the words “NO COMMERCIAL VALUE” should appear.
5. Works and Authors Identification:
a) Each of the works for submission must carry an entry form and identi cation label, clearly lled in, and attached to the reverse side of the original.
6. Jury:
a) The Jury of ve members will be presided by the Salon director.
b) The WPC organization, under the management of the chairman of the Jury, shall select the original works to be included in both the exhibition and the catalogue.
c) It is up to the Jury the award of prizes and honourable mentions.
d) The decisions of the Jury will be taken by majority vote and will be nal.
7. Return of the Works:
a) All of the works which comply with the terms of eligibility will be returned to their authors, whether they are selected or not to appear in the exhibition, except for works that have won a prize or an honourable mention in the competition.
b) All exhibited works will be returned after the closure of the main exhibition in Caldas da Rainha and subsequent tour exhibitions.
c) Digital prints will not be returned.
d) The author must provide his/her full postal address as indicated on the application form, including street, town/city, postcode and country.
e) For purpose of works and catalogue expedition, Postal O ce Box numbers are not accepted.
8. Catalogue:
a) Authors whose works are selected to the exhibition will receive a copy of the catalogue.
9. Royalties:
a) The submission of a completed entry form and identi cation label will automatically imply the waiving of the author’s royalties vis-à-vis the non commercial reproduction of his/her work. b) The awarding of a prize to a speci c work will automatically imply the waiving of its author’s royalties to the organization of the World Press Cartoon.
10. Prizes:
a) The structure of the prizes will be as follows:

b) Chosen from all the entries in the competition, the World Press Cartoon will award the best work with the Grand Prix of 10 000 euros.
c) The Grand Prix winning work will be chosen from the three rst-prize winners.
d) The Grand Prix winner will only receive the amount indicated for this prize, i.e., it will not be added to the amount indicated for winning the category rst prize.
e) The prize values indicated above refer to gross amounts and therefore are subject to Portuguese taxation at the rate in force.
f ) According to the standard of the works submitted to the competition, the Jury reserves the right not to award prizes in every category and level indicated in the table above.
g) All the prizes will be authenticated with a diploma and the winners will receive a trophy.
h) The nine prize winners will be invited to attend the Awards Ceremony to be held in Caldas da Rainha in the Spring of 2018.
i) In addition, the Jury is permitted to select other works for the distinction of Honourable Mention, which will be symbolised by a medal and authenticated by a diploma.
j) All prize-winning works and those awarded honourable mentions become the property of the World Press Cartoon organization.
k) Every newspaper or magazine in which a prize-winning work was published will receive a diploma in recognition of the World Press Cartoon award.
l) Every artist whose work is selected to appear in the exhibition and catalogue will receive a certi cate to mark the participation in the salon.

ABOUT CONTEST: With The International Green Crescent Cartoon Contest, it is intended to draw attention to addictions, raise awareness and in this way to ensure that the public, especially the young people, think about the addictions and develop reflexes through humor and cartoon which is an universal language. 
SUBJECT: The main theme of the contest is alcohol, drugs, tobacco and technology addictions. In the subtitles of the main theme, it will be moved from the following points in drawn cartoons. The following word “addictions” includes alcohol, drugs, tobacco and technology addictions.
TERMS and CONDITIONS:With The International Green Crescent Cartoon Contest, it is intended to draw attention to addictions, raise awareness and in this way to ensure that the public, especially the young people, think about the addictions and develop reflexes through humor and cartoon which is an universal language.

2018-ci ildə “Molla Nəsrəddin” – Azərbaycan” Beynəlxalq Karikatura Müsabiqəsinin 10 ili tamam olur! Məhz bu münasibətlə bu il təşkil olunan “Molla Nəsrəddin” Beynəlxalq Karikatura Müsabiqəsinin mövzusu “Yubiley” adlanır.
IX Beynəlxalq Karikatura Müsabiqəsi Azərbaycan Respublikası Mədəniyyət və Turizm Nazirliyinin, Azərbaycan Rəssamlar İttifaqının və Beynəlxalq Karikaturaçılar Təşkilatları Federasiyasının dəstəyi ilə keçirilir.

The Museum of Caricature and Cartoon of Vianden with the cooperation of Les Amis du Château de Vianden and Naturpark OUR are pleased to announce their 11th Int. Contest of Caricature and Cartoon of Vianden 
1. Subject: Head in the Stars (space exploration, astronomy, astronauts, asteroids...)
2. Deadline: 25th March 2018
3. Prizes: 1st prize:1500 €, 2nd prize: 1000 €, 3rd prize: 500 €, 3 honourable mentions
4. Entries: Each participant can submit up to 4 entries in digital format by sending them via internet to the following address: cartoon@caricature.eu The author must include the following details in his or her e-mail: first name, last name, complete address, e-mail address, phone number and the title or the number of each submission. The specifications for these electronic submissions are as follows: format JPEG, good quality, and max. 1, 5 MB per picture. Out of these submissions, will be made a selection of 60-100 drawings. Only the awarded artists will be invited to send the original work by mail. All these works will be shown as prints at the exhibition and in the catalogue. Their size should be between A4 (210x297mm) and A3 (297x420mm).
5. Technique: Free, black and white or in colour, without subtitles.
6.Prizes andExhibition: The announcement of the prizes and honourable mentions will happen on 5th May 2018 in Castle of Vianden and the exhibition will take place in the Hall of the Knights of the Castle of Vianden from 5th May until 27th May 2018. There are plans to display the exhibits in the Museum of Caricature and Cartoon of Vianden and in other cities or country.
7. Returns:The drawings that were awarded one of the prizes will become property of the organizer.
8. Catalogue:The authors whose submissions are selected for the exhibition will receive a free catalogue by mail.
9. Results: The results will be published on the website www.caricature.eu on 6th May 2018.
The award winners selected by the jury will be personally informed via e-mail or by phone. The final decisions of the jury are incontestable.
10. Copyright: The selected participants give the organizers permission to use their drawings only for promoting the artist and the event itself. Every other aspect of the copyright remains with the artist (except for the awarded submissions). It ensures that the awarded works can no longer be submitted in other contests or published by their authors or third parties after the official publication of the results.
11. Generalities: The submitted work should not have been awarded or published before the deadline of this contest.
By taking part in this contest the participants accept the abovementioned rules.

The 4th International Competition for Caricature "BRIDE’S VENERATION" is realized as the author's project of Stojance Velichkovski, under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Macedonia and the municipality of Kriva Palanka, on the topic: 
"BEFORE AND AFTER (THE MARRIAGE)... ".

"Ekoloji ve Kimya" karikatür Yarışması Sonuçlandı...

"Ekoloji ve Kimya" konulu karikatür yarışması 4 Ocak 2018 Perşeme günü toplanan juri üyeleri ile değerlendirilerek sonuçlandırılmıştır. Yarışmaya 89 kişi toplam 145 çalışma ile katıldı. Çok zor bir aşama olan değerlendirme aşamasında, titizlikle incelenen çalışmalar arasından seçilen derece, mansiyon ve sergiye değer ödülleri kazanan taraflara bildirilmiştir. 
"Ekoloji ve Kimya" konulu karikatür yarışmamızın ödül töreni ve sergisi, 20 Ocak 2018 Cumartesi günü saat 14.00'te Şubemizde düzenlenecek "Ekoloji ve Kimya Söyleşi" ile birlikte gerçekleşecektir.

Cartoon Exhibition "For Jerusalem"

I would like to invite you to participate in the Cartoon Exhibition (For Jerusalem). The exhibition will be conducted in the streets of Ramallah , making sure that by this it will reach as many people as possible in the city. The exhibition will be coordinated by Ramallah Municipality.
The exhibition will discuss two main issues as follows:
- Donald Trump's decision on Jerusalem, and how this decision threatens the peace process in the region. 
- Children arrested
Participation legibility
- The participated cartoon should be published, even this was through social media websites that belongs to the artist. 
- Each artist is allowed to participate with a maximum of three cartoons 
- Sending the cartoon will be considered as a declaration from the artist to use the cartoon in other related exhibitions and publications
- The cartoon should be provided in high resolution (300 DPI)
- The cartoon should be submitted with the artist name and the country

1. Yarışmanın Amacı:
Altınordu İlçe Milli Eğitim Müdrülüğü tarafından düzenlenen yarışmaya: amatör ve profesyonel çizerler katılabilir. Profesyonel çizerlerin yanında gençlerin de karikatür sanatına olan ilgilerini öne çıkarmak ve tema olarak belirlenen “Saygı” nın mizahın güçlü diliyle düşünceye dönüşmesi sonucu ortaya çıkacak bakış açılarını görsel bir eğitim materyali olarak kullanmayı hedeflemektedir.,
2. Hedef Kitle : Amatör, profesyonel tüm karikatür çizerlerine açıktır.
3. Konu : “Saygı”
4. Teknik : Teknik serbesttir ancak dijital üretilen eserler ıslak imzalı olmalıdır.
5: Boyut : Karikatürler en az: A4 (21 x 29,7 cm) en fazla: A3 (29.7 x 42 cm )

7. Katılım Koşulları:
• Yarışmacılar en fazla üç adet karikatür ile başvuru yapabilirler.
• Katılımcılar kendi anlatım biçimlerine uygun her türlü teknik ve malzemeyi kullanmakta serbesttirler.
• Yarışmaya gönderilen eserler daha önce yayınlanmış olabilir ancak herhangi bir yarışmada ödül almamış olmalıdır. Eserlerin alıntı ve/veya çalıntı olmasından doğabilecek her türlü yasal sorumluluklar eser sahibine aittir ve aksi tespit edildiği takdirde eser sahibi ödüllendirilmiş olsa bile ödülü geri alınır.
• Katılımcılar, eserinin arkasına büyük harflerle adını, soyadını, iletişim adresini, e-postasını, ve telefon numarasını yazmalı; kısa bir özgeçmişini zarfın içine koymalıdır.
• Eserlerin postada görebileceği zararlardan kurumumuz sorumlu değildir.
• Millî Eğitim Temel Kanununa mugayir, siyasi amaçlara hizmet eden, sakıncalı ve zararlı ifadeler içeren, genel ahlak kurallarına uymayan, hakaret içeren ve ne amaçla olursa olsun firma adı kullanılan eserler yarışma dışı kalacaktır.
• Jüri ve birinci derece yakınları yarışmaya katılamazlar.
• 18 yaş altı genç katılımcılar için özendirme ödülleri verilecektir. Genç katılımcıların başvurularına nüfus cüzdanı fotokopisi eklemeleri gerekmektedir. Eklemedikleri takdirde karikatürleri büyükler kategorisinde değerlendirilecektir.
• Yarışmaya katılan eserlerin bütün yayın hakları Altınordu İlçe Milli Eğitim Müdürlüğü aittir ve ticari olmayan amaçlarla eğitim/tanıtım vb. faaliyetlerinde kullanılabilecek ve yarışmaya gönderilen karikatürler geri gönderilmeyecektir.
• Yarışmacı, dereceye giren eserin kullanım haklarını Altınordu İlçe Milli Eğitim Müdürlüğü’ne verdiğini peşinen kabul eder. Buna bağlı olarak gerek Fikri ve Sınai Haklar Kanunu’nu, gerekse diğer ilgili mevzuat gereğince yarışmaya gönderdiği eserinin/eserlerinin çoğaltma, işlenme, yayma, temsil, umuma iletim, faydalanma vb. umuma arzda gerekli bilumum haklar için Altınordu İlçe Milli Eğitim Müdürlüğü’ne izin/muvafakatname verdiğini kabul eder.
• Yarışmada ödül alan ve sergilenmeye layık görünen eserlerden oluşan bir albüm yapılacak ve albüme girmeye hak kazananların adresine postalanacaktır.
( ödül alan eseler ile birlikte toplam 52 eser katalog seçkisini oluşturacaktır.)
• Bu yarışmaya katılanlar yarışma koşullarını kabul etmiş sayılırlar. Uygulama esaslarında yer almayan konulara dair takdir yetkisi Altınordu İlçe Milli Eğitim Müdürlüğü’ne aittir.
8. Yapıtların Teslimi :
Zarf içindeki biyografi ile yarışmaya katılacak eser postada zarar görmeyecek şekilde ambalajlanacak, aşağıdaki gönderi adresine son katılım tarihinden önce ulaştırmalıdır. Postada oluşabilecek hasarlardan ve gecikmelerden düzenleyici kurum sorumlu tutulamaz.

1-Yarışma tüm çizerlere açıktır.
2-Yarışmaya gönderilen karikatürler daha önce yayınlanmış olabilir. Ancak başka bir yarışmada ödül almamış olmalıdır.
3-Teknik serbesttir. Çizer yarışmaya en fazla 5 eserle katılabilir. Orijinal ya da baskıya uygun 300 dpi, jpg formatında olmak üzere e-mail ile de kabul edilebilir. Farklı formatlarda gönderilen; açılmayan ve açılamayan dosyalardan kurumumuz sorumlu değildir.
4-Gönderilecek karikatürlerin boyutu en fazla 30x40 cm. olmalıdır.

8th International Turhan Selcuk Cartoon Competition

CONDITIONS
THEME: Open
CONDITIONS:
1.The competition is open to any cartoonist.
2.It is acceptable to enter with cartoons that have been published previously. However, they should not have won any prize/award in any other competition.
3.Any technique is allowed. The cartoonist can submit a maximum of 5 cartoons. Originals or electronic versions suitable for printing in 300 dpi and jpg format sent by e-mail would also be acceptable. No reposnibility will be assuemed for documents sent in different formats and documents that can not be opened.
4.All cartoons must be 30x40cm maximum.
5.The participants must write their names (first and surname) in capital letters, address, e-mail, country and telephone number; a brief CV should be submitted in a sealed envelope.
6.The cartoons must be sent to the following address, no later than 30th April 2018

7.The results of the competition will be announced on 18 th May 2018
8.The cartoons sent to the competition will not be returned. All cartoons, whether they have won a prize or not, may be used for cultural purposes and may be published. Participation assumes acceptance of these conditions. All cartoons will be kept in the ‘Turhan Selcuk Karikaturlu Ev’.
9.The cartoons selected by the jury will be displayed in the exhibition and will also be printed in the album.
10.The reward ceremony will be held on 14th September 2018 The opening of the exhibition will be held on the same date, in ‘Turhan Selcuk Karikaturlu Ev’ for cartoons which have won an award or have been selected for display. The exhibition will be open until 1th October 2018.
11.Accommodation and meal expenses for participants who have won a ‘Special Award’ will be met. Travel expenses will be borne by the participants. Travel, accommodation and meal expenses for competitors who come first, second and third will be met by Milas Municipality.

After the exhibition the Works submitted will be donated to the Children's School No. 11 Parque de los Patricios
Seen and considering that the nursery school No. 11 of Parque de los Patricios has two Argentine-Chinese bilingual integrated rooms and Argentine Chinese children 4 and 5 years thanks to an agreement made between the cities of Buenos Aires and pointing to Beijing Argentine children learn the language of the Asian nation. Once the exhibition finished the participating artists Diogenes Taborda authorize the Museum to deliver the works sent in the form of grants to the director of the nursery school No. 11, to be incorporated into the school dining rooms.

Karikatürcüler Derneği Başkanı Metin Peker'in Acı Günü

Karikatürcüler Derneği Başkanı Metin Peker'in sevgili annesi Sırma Peker 17 Aralık 2017 sabahı vefat etmiştir.
Metin Peker'in değerli annesinin cenazesi 18 Aralık 2017 Pazartesi günü öğle namazını müteakip (saat 12:00) Anakara'da Karşıyaka Mezarlığında ebedi istirahatgahına konulacaktır.

Karcomics Magazine olarak Karikatürcüler Derneği Başkanı Metin Peker'in annesine Allah'tan rahmet,kendisine ve ailesine baş sağlığı ile sabırlar diliyoruz..

6th Niels Bugge Cartoon Award 2018 

Theme: Artificial Intelligence
Artificial Intelligence is coming. I don’t mean computers playing chess or go against human beings… and winning. No, I mean machines, manufactured by humankind, thinking, inventing, creating and perhaps, in the future, feeling and suffering.
Science fiction literature and movies from the 20th and 21st centuries have developed the concept of robots, clones, androids at the service of humans. Robots, clones and androids that suddenly start thinking, and even thinking for themselves, and then, possibly, rebel and fight against us - their creators, their masters, their gods.
The US writer Philip K. Dick, author of the novel Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? (Blade Runner on the screens, as well as Total Recall and The Adjustment Bureau), was one of the most amazing visionaries concerning artificial intelligence.
Steven Spielberg, with his movie A. I. Artificial Intelligence (following an idea of Stanley Kubrik), also went quite far away on the very deep philosophical question of the android, a perfect charming child, who wishes to become human.
But, for the moment, this is not our present. Our present is for instance the industrial robotics which is already invading our factories, and the housework robots which will soon occupy our homes and doing all our domestic chores. That means less jobs for working people outside and less work for us inside. So, surely more free time for all of us inside but perhaps also less freedom and social autonomy outside.
And then, one thing led to another, shall we have robotic soldiers to make war someday and android sex toys to make love... instead of us.
In short, dear cartoonists from all over the world, with our 2018 theme Artificial Intelligence, all the possibilities are opened for you to express, thanks to your natural intelligence, your most terrific and free artistic creativity about this very important subject concerning our present and future as living social species on Earth.

For the jury of the 6th Niels Bugges Cartoon Award 2018
Conditions and rules:
1.Initially, each participant can submit up to 3 entries in digital format by sending them before March 15th, 2018 via internet (Upload) to the following address: www.nielsbuggeaward.org/sendcartoon.html
2.together with the digital entry form with the informations about the author. Size for the first round: A4 Format, 300dpi, 2480x3508 pixel (approximately), Max. 5 MB each file. 
3.The cartoons received after the deadline will be rejected.
4.Out of these submissions, the jury will make a selection of 100-120 drawings. Only the selected artists will be asked to send the original work by post. All these works will be shown at the exhibition. 
5.The works can be made in black & white or color, with any drawing technique, we accept only wordless cartoons, without subtitles. The submitted work should not have been awarded before the deadline of this contest. 
6.Cartoon works will be appreciated by the International Jury.
7.The award winners selected by the jury will be personally informed via e-mail. The final decisions of the jury are incontestable.
The Prizes are :
1st Prize : 3.000 €, Gold plate and diploma
2nd Prize : 2.000 €, Silver plate and diploma
3rd Prize : 1.000 €, Bronze plate and diploma
The selected participants give the organizers permission to use their drawings only for promoting the artist and the event itself. Every other aspect of the copyright remains with the artist (except for the awarded submissions). It ensures that the awarded works can no longer be submitted in other contests or published by their authors or third parties after the official publication of the results. Theme: On the road
During the exhibition Kerouac. Beat Painting organized at the Museo Maga in Gallarate from December 2017 to April 2018 "Humor in Gallarate" chooses as the theme for the XXIII edition the title of his most famous novel. The pictorial and graphic works of one of the 20th century literary icons, Father of Beat Generation, will be exhibited for the first time in Italy, and "On the Road" will also be the leading line in the show of the selected cartoon.
Regulations
1) The contest is open to all professional cartoonists, caricaturists, illustrators and graphic artists from all over the world.
2) The competition is divided into three sections: A) Graphic humor B) Satire C) Caricature
Each participant can submit up to three works, one for each section, specifying the title
3) Theme: On the Road
4) The works must be UNPUBLISHED, accompanied by the participation card, biography and photo. Any work already published on paper or on the web will automatically be excluded from the assignement of prizes.
5) Size: A4 (21 x 29,7 cm)
6) Technique: Free.
The artworks Works can be made with any technique, including digital techniques.
7) The artworks could be send in two ways: A) Sending the artworks’ original | B) Electronic submission
A) A) Sending originals by post: each artwork must be signed by the author, with the personal information (name, surname, address), title and technique. The works, accompanied by the participation card, must be sent to:

IMPORTANT: In the event of awarding a prize, the winner is required to send the original workthat will become part of the "Humor at Gallarate Collection". In case of digital artwork, the author is required to send an high-definition print with the "unique copy" caption.

9) Prizes: the Jury will assign the following prizes:
- Grand Prix "Marco Biassoni" for the best artwork among all the sections
(Graphics/Cartoon, Satire, Caricature) - 1.000 € + diploma
- 1st Prize – 500 € + diploma for each section
- One special Mention of Jury – Diploma for each section
A- 5 mention of honor for each
- “Cava Prize” 500 € + diploma. The special "Cava Award" named after Osvaldo Cavandoli, creator of the celebrated "La Linea" character, will be assigned to the artwork that, chosen from all the sections, will combine the beauty of humorous, satirical or caricatural content with the essence of the core graphic execution.
10) Jury: The selection of works and the awarding of prizes is exclusive jurisdiction of the Jury, appointed by the Pro Loco Gallarate, which will meet on December 16, 2017 in Gallarate. The jury's decision is final and unquestionable.
11) Exhibition: from January 21, 2018 at Maga Museum (Gallarate).
There will be also Marilena Nardi’s solo art exhibition.
Opening ceremony: Sunday, January 21, 2018, at 11:00 AM
All authors who will attend the opening ceremony are invited to a rustic lunch.
12) Catalogue: Each selected author, exhibited in shows and published in the catalog, will receive a complimentary copy of the same
13) Property and rights: the Organizers reserve the rights to reproduce the cartoons in catalogue, newspapers, or posters to promote the Contest and to exhibit a selection of works in other locations in Italy or other countries. None of works will be returned but will be included in the "Humour Gallarate Collection".

9th International Tourism Cartoon Competition

The objective of the competition, which was first held in 2009, is to examine tourism, which is one of the biggest sectors in the world, with its various dimensions. Also, the competition aims to put forward cartoonists’ aspects in terms of travelling population’s experiences and relations during their travel. In this respect, the main objective of this competition is to assess such topics, developments and experiences within the tourism industry as accommodation, transportation, food and beverage, recreation, sightseeing, museums, environment, tourist-resident relationships, from cartoonists’ point of view.
Competition is held annually and is open to all cartoonists from all over the world, both amateur and professional. Nearly 240submitted works which get to the final elimination take place in the Cartoon Book. The reward ceremony of the present competition will be held in İzmir, Turkey.
The theme of the competition in 2017 is "VACATIONS from the past to present".
Cartoons will be accepted in two sections:
Adult Category: This category is open for the all of cartoonists who are 17 and older.
Young Category: This category is open for the cartoonists who are 16 and younger.

“Ekoloji ve Kimya” Karikatür Yarışması

● Bu yılki konusu “Ekoloji ve Kimya” olan karikatür yarışması TMMOB Kimya Mühendisleri Odası İstanbul Şubesi’nin 2015 yılında düzenlediği “Savaş İçin Değil Barış İçin Kimya” konulu karikatür yarışmasının devamı niteliğinde üçüncü yarışmasıdır. Yarışma TMMOB Kimya Mühendisleri Odası İstanbul Şubesi tarafından düzenlenmektedir. 
● Yarışma tüm profesyonel ve amatör karikatüristlere açıktır. 
● Seçici kurul, konunun uzmanı karikatür çizerlerinden, illüstratörlerden oluşmaktadır. 
● Karikatür Yarışmasının ödül töreni 13.01.2017tarihinde gerçekleştirilecektir. Ayrıntılı program daha sonra paylaşılacaktır. 
Genel Kurallar ve Katılım Koşulları 
1. Yarışma “Ekoloji ve Kimya” konuludur. 
2. Konu ile ilgili karikatürlerin, Türkiye’de ve dünyada canlı türleri ve doğa üzerinde kimyanın etkilerini ele alması beklenmektedir. Karikatürlerin artan kimyasal üretimi ve tüketiminin neden olduğu kaosu,canlı yaşam biçimlerini etkiliyor oluşunu, hatta bazı türlerin yok olmasını, doğanın düzeninin bozulmasını ve yaşam alanlarımızı tahribini, bu sorunlara üretebileceği çözümleri, kimya sektörünün doğaya zarar vermeden nasıl işleyebileceği vs. üzerine eserler beklenmektedir. 
3. Yarışmaya katılım karikatür çizip katılmak isteyen herkese serbesttir. Her profesyonel ve amatör karikatürist bu yarışmaya katılabilir. 
4. Yarışmaya orijinal karikatürle katılınmalıdır. Fotoğraf, fotokopi vs. kabul edilmeyecektir. Bilgisayarla çizilmiş ve renklendirilmiş karikatürler de, katılımcının kendi el çizimi olması, kopyalanmış ürünler kullanılmaması koşulunda kabul edilecektir. 
5. Katılımcılar yarışmaya en fazla 2 karikatür ile katılabilir. 
6. Karikatür seçiminde cinsiyetçi, ırkçı, heteroseksist/homofobik karikatürler değerlendirmeye alınmayacaktır.

8. Posta / Kargo sırasında zarar görmüş karikatürlerden kurumumuz sorumlu değildir. Bu yüzden, eserlerinizi paketlemeniz hususunda dikkatli olmanızı ve eserinizi iyi muhafaza edilmiş bir paketle yollamanızı rica ederiz. 
9. Gönderilen karikatürler Kimya Mühendisleri Odası arşivinde kalacaktır. Eserler ödül programını düzenleyen yayıncı kurulusun hazırlayacağı ajanda, takvim, afis, poster, albüm, katalog, kitap, slayt gösterisi, eğitim etkinliği ve web sitesinde eser sahibinin ismini açık olarak belirterek, kullanım hakkına eserin ait olduğu kişinin izni dâhilinde eser sahibi ile birlikte sahip olacaktır. Eserlerin yayıncı kuruluş dışında üçüncü şahıslarca, izinsiz kullanımı durumunda, sanatçı fikir ve sanat eserleri kanunundan doğan haklarını tek basına kullanabilir. 
10. Katılımcılar katılım formunu imzalayarak yarışmaya katılabilir, imzasız form ile gönderilen karikatürler yarışmaya alınmayacaktır. Katılımcılar yarışma koşullarını kabul etmiş sayılırlar. 
11. Yarışmada ödül kazanan ve dereceye giren karikatürlerden, ödül töreninin yapıldığı gün bir sergi düzenlenecektir. 
12. Yarışmaya son gönderim tarihi 22.12.2017’dir.

· All artworks to be prepared at 300 dpi.

KONU: KİTAP
“Kitaplar, beynin çocuklarıdır.” der ünlü filozof Çiçero.
İnsanlar, ancak okumaya başladıkları zaman kitabın önemini fark ederler.
Halkımıza, özellikle gençlerimize okuma sevgisini kazandırmak için Denizli Büyükşehir Belediyesi olarak birçok projeye imza attık.
Bugüne kadar yayınladığımız eserler; kitaba, kültüre, okumaya ve yazarlara olan sevgimizin, saygımızın önemli bir göstergesidir. Bu göstergelerden bir başkası da ilkini 2016 yılında gerçekleştirdiğimiz: “Denizli Büyükşehir Belediyesi Kitap Fuarı”dır. Kitap fuarımızla, Ege Bölgesi’nde adeta bir destan yazdık. Yayıncısıyla, okuruyla, yazarıyla birlikte bunun gururunu yaşadık. Bundan da güç alarak bir süre ara verdiğimiz karikatür yarışmamızı, Kitap Fuarı ile bütünleştirmeyi düşündük.
Konuyu: “KİTAP” olarak belirledik.
“Kitap, okuyucu, yazar” üçgeninden yola çıkarak oluşturacağınız; ilginç, özgün, geleceğe ışık tutacak eserlerinizi bekliyoruz.

YARIŞMAYA KATILACAK KARİKATÜRLERDE ARANACAK NİTELİKLER:
1. Çizim tekniği serbesttir. Karikatürler bilgisayar çıktısı olarak gönderilecekse orijinal imzalı (ıslak imza) olması gerekmektedir.
2. Karikatür boyutları en az: A4 ( 21 x 29,7 cm ) en fazla: A3 ( 29.7 x 42 cm ) olmalı ve herhangi bir zemine yapıştırılmamalıdır.
3. Gönderilecek karikatürler daha önce hiçbir ulusal ve uluslararası yarışmada ödül almamış olmalıdır. Seçici kurulun aynı ya da benzer saydığı veya başka bir karikatürcüye ait olduğunu bildiği karikatürler değerlendirilmeyecektir. Her türlü olası tartışmalar, çalıntı ve benzer iddiaların sorumlusu katılımcı olacaktır.
4. Yarışmacılar karikatürleriyle birlikte kimlik bilgilerini içeren (Ek-1) formunu ve kısaca özgeçmişlerinden bahsedeceği (Ek-2) formunu doldurularak göndermelidir.
5. Yarışmacılar en fazla beş (5) adet karikatür gönderebilirler.
*ÜÇÜNCÜ BÖLÜM
ESERLERİN TESLİMİ :
1. Her bir eserin arka yüzünde katılımcıların bilgileri yer almalıdır. (Adı, Soyadı, Adresi, Telefon, TC Kimlik No ve varsa e-posta bilgileri). Bu bilgileri içermeyen eserler değerlendirmeye alınmayacaktır.
2. 18 yaş altı genç katılımcılar için özendirme ödülleri verilecektir. Genç katılımcıların başvurularına nüfus cüzdanı fotokopisi eklemeleri gerekmektedir. Eklemedikleri takdirde karikatürleri büyükler kategorisinde değerlendirilecektir.
3. Katılımcılar, eserlerini yalnızca Denizli Büyükşehir Belediyesinin belirlemiş olduğu adrese göndereceklerdir. Bu adrese gönderilmeyen eserler değerlendirmeye alınmayacaktır.
4. Eserin gönderileceği zarfın üzerine: “Denizli Büyükşehir Belediyesi Ulusal Karikatür Yarışması” yazısı ile sanatçının adı ve soyadı yazılarak, belirtilen adrese 23 ŞUBAT 2018 Cuma günü mesai bitimine kadar gönderilmelidir.
5. Karikatürler, “Denizli Büyükşehir Belediyesi, Kültür Turizm ve Tanıtım Dairesi Başkanlığı, Altıntop Mah. Lise Cad. No:2, PK:20100-Denizli” adresine; posta-kargo ile gönderileceği gibi elden tutanak karşılığı teslim edilebilir.
Posta ile müracaatlarda, ilan edilen teslim süresi için son gün; evrakın postaya verildiği değil, Belediye’ye ulaştığı tarih kabul edilecektir.
Postadaki gecikmeler için Denizli Büyükşehir Belediyesi sorumlu tutulamaz.
6. Karikatürlerin hasar görmemesi, kesinlikle katlanmaması gerekmektedir. Şartnameye uygun olarak; kargo, iadeli taahhütlü posta veya elden ulaştırılmalıdır.

SON HÜKÜMLER:
1. Ödül törenine katılmak isteyen seçici kurul üyelerinin ulaşım ve konaklama bedeli Denizli Büyükşehir Belediyesi tarafından karşılanacaktır.
2. Yarışma jürisinin sergilenmeye değer bulduğu karikatürler, Denizli Büyükşehir Belediyesi Kitap Fuarında ve daha sonra belirleyeceği yerlerde sergilenecektir.
3. Denizli dışında oturan ve yarışmada ödül kazanan katılımcıların şahsına ait ulaşım (otobüs bileti), konaklama ve ağırlama masrafları Denizli Büyükşehir Belediyesi tarafından karşılanacaktır. (Yarışmacıların beraberinde getirecekleri misafirlerin masrafları kendilerine ait olacaktır.) Ödül kazandığı halde törene katılamayanların ödülleri yarışmacıların adreslerine gönderilecektir, maddi ödüller ise banka hesaplarına yatırılacaktır.
4. Yurtdışından katılmış olup da ödül kazanan yarışmacılarımızın sadece yurt içi yol (otobüs bileti) ve konaklamaları karşılanacaktır.
5. Para ödülü kazanan yarışmacıların ödüllerini almaya gelmedikleri takdirde tarafımıza ulaştırdıkları banka IBAN numarasına havale yapılacaktır. Hak sahibinin IBAN numarasını bildirmemesi durumunda ödül bedeli, sonuçların açıklandığı tarihten itibaren 1 yılın sonunda zaman aşımına uğrar. Zaman aşımı durumunda hak sahibinin ödül, telif vb. herhangi bir talebi olamaz. (Gönderim bedelleri yarışmacılara ödenen net ücret üzerinden kesilecektir.)
6. 18 yaş altı ödül kazanan katılımcılarımızın ve velisi olan bir kişinin konaklama ve ulaşım masrafları karşılanacaktır.
7. Ulaşım masrafları için otobüs bileti gidiş-dönüş olarak, resmi rayiç bedeller dikkate alınarak hesaplanır.
8. Katılımcı ödül alsın veya almasın karikatürlerin her türlü kullanım haklarından DENİZLİ BÜYÜKŞEHİR BELEDİYESİ de yararlanabilecektir.
9. Yarışmaya gönderilen karikatürler geri gönderilmeyecektir. Dereceye giren veya girmeyen karikatürler Denizli Büyükşehir Belediyesi tarafından kültürel amaçlı kullanılabilecek veya yayınlanabilecektir.
10. Yarışmaya gönderilen karikatürler içerisinden, jüri tarafından seçilen ve sergilenmeye değer görülen eserler Denizli Büyükşehir Belediyesi’nce düzenlenecek olan bir albümde toplanacaktır. Bu albümler yalnızca yarışmada dereceye giren ve düzenlenen albümde eseri yayınlanan katılımcılara gönderilecektir.
11. Yarışma sonunda ödül, mansiyon kazanan, sergilenme ve albüme girmeye hak kazanan eserler üzerinde 5846 sayılı Fikir ve Sanat Eserleri Kanunu’nun 21’inci maddesinde tanımlanan işleme, 22’nci maddesinde tanımlanan çoğaltma, 23’üncü maddesinde tanımlanan yayma, 24’üncü maddesinde tanımlanan temsil ve 25’inci maddesinde tanımlanan işaret, ses ve/veya görüntü nakline yarayan araçlarla umuma iletim mali hakları eser sahibi ile birlikte süresiz olarak Denizli Büyükşehir Belediyesi’ne ait olacaktır.
Denizli Büyükşehir Belediyesi bu haklar çerçevesinde eseri, süresiz olarak, Türkiye içinde veya dışında, Türkçe veya diğer tüm dünya dillerinde, her türlü ortam ve her türlü materyal içeriğinde eser sahibinin ismini belirterek kullanabilecek ve kullandırabilecektir Denizli Büyükşehir Belediyesi, karikatürlerin başka amaçlar için kullanılmasına, hiçbir koşul altında, izin vermez.
12. Sergilemeye ve albüme seçilen eserlere ücret ödenmez.
13. Çalışmalarını yarışmaya gönderen tüm katılımcılar yukarıdaki koşulları kabul etmiş sayılır.

M. Serhan Gazioğlu’nun İkinci Kişisel Karikatür Albümü yayınlandı...

“ÖMER DAYI VE BAREYASI”
(24 Kasım 2017 – Lefkoşa) Kıbrıslı Türk karikatür sanatçısı M. Serhan Gazioğlu’nun ikinci kişisel karikatür albümü; Khora Yayınları’nın hazırladığı ilk karikatür kitabı olan “Ömer Dayı ve Bareyası” yayınlandı. Ömer Tatlısu’nun yayına hazırladığı 126 sayfadan oluşan karikatür albümünde, Kıbrıs Türk Toplumu tarafından yıllardır büyük bir beğeni ile izlenen çizgi karakter “Ömer Dayı ve Bareyası” hakkında şu bilgiler yer almakta:
“Ömer Dayı toplumsal mücadele ve direniş tarihimize tanıklık eden, halkımızın yaşadığı her mağduriyet karşısında adaletten, doğrudan yana taraf olan bir karakterdir. Ömer Dayı ve Bareyası’nın başından geçenleri okurken; kah üzülecek, kah şaşıracak, kah sinirleneceksiniz. Hayatın mizahı geçtiği bazı absürd olayları yeniden hatırlayacak, kahkahalarınızla siz de saf tutacak; bu ülke toprağına tutunmak için yeni bir şevk duyacaksınız. M. Serhan Gazioğlu bu değerli eseri ile mizahın gerçekten de ciddi bir iş olduğunu hepimize bir kez daha hatırlatıyor.”

M. SERHAN GAZİOĞLU KİMDİR?
M. Serhan Gazioğlu, 1950 yılında Mağusa’da doğdu. Kıbrıs Türk karikatür Sanatı “Yenileşme Dönemi”nin (1970 – 1980) öncülerindendir. 1969 – 1975 yıllarında karikatür sanatı ile ilgilenmeye başladı ve ilk karikatürü “Akbaba” Mizah Dergisi’nde yayınlandı (1975).
Yüksek öğreniminde bulunduğu dönemde (1969 – 1975), Kıbrıs’taki mevcut düzene karşı çizdiği karikatürlerini, öğrenci derneği kanalı ile Kıbrıs’taki “Halkın Sesi” gazetesine gönderiyor ve yayınlatıyordu. 
Kıbrıs’ta, Halkın Sesi, Yeni Düzen, Yeni Çağ, Tabipler Birliği, Akrep, Çığır, Mimarca, Kıbrıslı, Haberdar, Afrika, Yeni Akrep, Tantana isimli gazete ve dergilerde karikatürleri yayınlandı.
Kıbrıs Türk Karikatürcüler Derneği’nin düzenlediği birçok karma karikatür sergisinde ve Dünya’nın birçok ülkesinde düzenlenen uluslararası karikatür sergilerinde eserleri yer aldı ve hazırlanan albümlerde yayınlandı. Kıbrıs’ta düzenlenen ulusal ve uluslararası karikatür yarışmalarında “Seçici Kurul Üyesi” görevinde bulundu. Ulusal karikatür yarışmalarında birçok ödüller kazanan M. Serhan Gazioğlu, 2012 yılında Mağusa’da “Çizgi Tadında Mağusa 1955 – 2012” isimli ilk kişisel karikatür sergisini açtı.
Kıbrıs Türk Karikatürcüler Derneği’nin Kurucu Üyesi olan M. Serhan Gazioğlu, uzun yıllar Yönetim Kurulu Üyesi (1986 – 1987), Mali Sekreter (1987 – 1990) görevlerinde bulundu. 2009 yılından bugüne Kıbrıs Türk Karikatürcüler Derneği’nin Genel Sekreteri’dir.
Tantana haftalık mizah dergisinin Yayın Kurulu Üyesi ve çizeri olan M. Serhan Gazioğlu, 2005 yılında “Uzun Lafın Kısası, 30 Yıl Karikatürle” isimli ilk kişisel karikatür albümünü yayınladı.
