Dear friends,
First hope that this message finds you all in good health and not too demoralized by the confinement and the ambient disaster.
Faced with the crisis which is currently shaking the whole world, we will need to stand together and we invite you further to share your works with us on this particular subject.*
For the moment we intend to continue the preparations for the Biennale on the planned dates, and to adapt our program as and when required in the inevitable conditions.
It is a great pleasure for us to present to you the poster of the 14th International Cartoon Biennial at the Cloître des Carmes of Jonzac from 26 June to 5 July, 2020.
The drawing was made by the Mexican-Cuban cartoonist Ángel Boligán, guest of honour at the Jonzac Festival this summer.
The design of the model is by Zoran Petrovic, guest of honour in 2016.
We warmly thank the two artists for their precious contribution and friendly support.
A big thank you also to all the people who have already sent us their contribution to the 14th Biennale.
Normally they have received or will individually receive a thank you email within 15 days of their dispatch.
If you wish, you still have 5 days to send us your works.

AMAÇ VE KONU:İklim Değişikliği Risklerini Azaltmada Sigorta’nın Önemi…
TürkSigorta. olarak, yarışma konusunu belirlememizin amacı, bir kişinin ya da bir şirketin Küresel Isınma sonuçları karşısında taşınır ve taşınmaz mallarına ilişkin maruz kalabileceği risklere dair önceden ödeyeceği primler ile, doğabilecek zararları gidermek amaçlı sigortalama önlemleri ve yöntemleri konusunda farkındalık yaratmaktır.
Yarışmaya gönderilecek eserler, Küresel Isınma’nın etkileri sonrasında oluşabilecek sağlık, trafikte kayıtlı araçlar ile tüm taşınır ve taşınmaz mallara yönelik riskler; konut ve işyerlerinin maruz kalabileceği zararlar, yangın, deprem, sel ve su baskını, fırtına, yer kayması, taşıt çarpması, hırsızlık vd. riskler ile araç sigortaları, seyahat vb. sigorta paketleri konusunda felsefi ve siyasi çizgisel görüşlerin yansıtılmasıdır. Üretilecek eserlerde, ırk, renk, dil, din, cinsiyet, cinsel yönelim, inanç, etnik köken ayrımcılığı yapılmamalıdır.
KATILIM KOŞULLARI:
1 – Bu Yarışma, 18 yaş üstü, Kuzey Kıbrıs Türk Cumhuriyeti ve Türkiye Cumhuriyeti vatandaşı amatör – profesyonel tüm karikatürcülere veya karikatür çizebilen herkese açıktır.
2 – Yarışmaya gönderilecek eserler orijinal olacaktır. Fotokopi kabul edilmez. Ölçü: A4 veya A3. Siyah – beyaz veya renkli. Her katılımcı isim, soy isim, adres, telefon, e-posta adresini karikatürün arkasına yazacak; fotoğraf ve kısa özgeçmiş gönderecektir.
3 – Yarışmaya gönderilecek eserler karikatür tarzında olmalıdır. Resim veya illüstrasyon tarzındaki eserler kabul edilmez. Karikatürler yazısız olmalıdır.
4 – Yarışmaya en fazla 2 eser ile katılmak mümkündür. Ancak, bir katılımcıya birden fazla ödül verilmez.
5 – Eserler en geç 30 Mayıs 2020 tarihine kadar, belirtilen adrese posta veya kargo ile ulaştırılmış olmalıdır. Eserlerin gönderilmesinde meydana gelebilecek kayıp, gecikme ve hasardan çizer sorumlu olacaktır.
6 – Yarışmaya gönderilecek eserlerin yayınlanmış veya yayınlanmamış olmaları önemli değildir.
7 – TürkSigorta ve Kıbrıs Türk Karikatürcüler Derneği temslcilerinden oluşacak Seçici Kurul Üyeleri’nin değerlendirmesine sunulan ve finale kalan eserler, yarışmanın resmi web sayfasında yayınlanacak; karikatürcülerin, karikatürcü örgütlerinin, benzer – taklit – çalıntı karikatürlere karşı oluşturulan uluslararası organizasyonların dikkatine ve itirazına getirilecektir. Finale kalan herhangi bir karikatürün çalıntı – taklit veya benzer olduğu belgelendiği taktirde, bir sonraki yüksek puan alan finalist karikatür ödüllendirilir.
8 – Yarışmada ödül kazanan eserlerin yanısıra, Seçici Kurul’un uygun göreceği sayıdaki eser bir albüm halinde yayınlanabilir. Albümün yayınlanması durumunda eseri yayınlanan çizerlere birer adet albüm ücretsiz olarak gönderilecektir.
9 – Yarışmaya gönderilen eserler, online olarak veya açık yada kapalı mekanlarda ve/veya internet ortamında ve/veya sosyal medyada ve/veya basılı ve görsel medyada ve/veya reklam amaçlı tüm materyallerde, TürkSigorta veya Kıbrıs Türk Karikatürcüler Derneği’nin belirleyeceği tarihlerde ve istenilen zaman aralıklarında TürkSigorta logosunun rahatlıkla görünür ebatta olması kaydıyla sergilenebilecek veya yayınlanabilecektir.
10 – KKTC vatandaşı çizerler dışında, yarışmada ilk üç ödülü Türkiye Cumhuriyeti çizerlerinin kazanması durumunda ödül törenine katılmaları için gerekli ulaşım ve konaklama giderleri TürkSigorta tarafından karşılanacaktır.
11 – KKTC vatandaşı çizerler dışında, Özel Ödül kazanan Türkiye Cumhuriyeti çizerlerinin ödül törenine katılmaları kendi imkanlarınca sağlanacak; konaklama ve diğer giderler Türk
Sigorta tarafından temin edilecektir.
12 – Yarışmaya gönderilen eserler, ödül alsın veya almasın geri iade edilmeyecektir. Eserlerin her türlü kullanım hakkı TürkSigorta Ltd.’de saklı olmak kaydı ile, Kıbrıs Türk Karikatürcüler Derneği’nin arşivinde muhafaza edilecektir...

Trabzonun Sevilen Karikatürcü Abisi Hikmet Aksoy Vefat Etti..Turkish Cartoonist Hikmet Aksoy Passed

İstanbul -Türkiye Gazeteciler Cemiyeti Trabzon Temsilcisi Hikmet Aksoy uzunca bir süredir tedavi gördüğü hastanede (beynindeki tümör) 21 Mart 2020 günü vefat etti.
Hikmet Aksoy’un cenazesi 22 Mart 2020 Pazar günü Vakfıkebir Cumhuriyet Mahallesi’ndeki evinin önünde saat 11.00’de yapılacak törenin ardından aynı mahalledeki Aile Kabristanı’nda toprağa verilecek.
Bir süredir hastanede tedavi gören Hikmet Aksoy’un vefatının ardından Türkiye Gazeteciler Cemiyeti Yönetim Kurulu bir baş sağlığı mesajı yayınladı.
Mesajda “Türkiye Gazeteciler Cemiyeti Trabzon Temsilcimiz Hikmet Aksoy’un vefatını büyük bir üzüntüyle öğrendik. Uzun yıllardır TGC’ye, gazetecilik ve çizerlik mesleklerine başarıyla hizmet veren usta gazeteci Hikmet Aksoy’u hiç unutmayacağız. Ailesine ve basın topluluğumuza baş sağlığı diliyoruz” denildi.
HİKMET AKSOY’UN ÖZ GEÇMİŞİ: Araştırmacı, karikatürist. 1937 Vakfıkebir / Trabzon doğumlu. Lise öğrenimi sırasında İstanbul gazetelerine muhabirlik yaptı.
İlk yazısı 1953’te Vefa dergisinde, 1959-62 arası karikatürleri Türkiye Spor, Son Havadis, Büyük Gazete, Şaka, Tef vb. dergi ve gazetelerde yayımladı. Askerliğini yaptığı Simav ilçesinde Köy Raporu adlı bir gazete çıkardı (1963-65). 1959’dan bu yana Trabzon gazetelerinden Hizmet, Hakimiyet, Son Haber, Türkçesi vb. gazetelerinde yayın yönetmeni ve yazı işleri müdürü olarak çalıştı. Basın kuruluşlarından yirmi civarında ödül aldı. 1996’da Karadeniz Fıkraları Ajansını kurdu. TGC Bizim Gazete’de karikatürleri yayınlandı. TGC Trabzon Temsilcisi olarak görev yapıyordu.

25. INTERNATIONAL CARTOON EXHIBITION ZAGREB 2020
A. PARTICIPATION: The organizer of the 25th International cartoon exhibition ZAGREB 2020 is the Croatian Cartoonist Association. The festival is opened for everyone regardless of nationality, age, sex, or profession.
B.THEME: CUISINE (gastronomy, cooking, chefs, restaurants, catering ...)
C. ENTRIES. Conditions of entry:
1. Original works and digital artworks will be accepted. Digital
artwork is to be numbered in pencil on the front and pencil
signed. Copies cannot be admitted.
2. Entries can be either black and white or coloured.
3. There should be the name, the surname and the adress on the
reverse side of cartoons.
4. The cartoons must not have been previously awarded on
festivals.
5. Maximum 3 entries will be submitted.
6. Size of entries is A4 or A3 format.

International Competition of Satirical Drawing «DZHMELYK»
Dolyna, Ukraine, 2020
The founder: Dolyna City Council.
Organizers: CI «The City Center of Culture, Sport and
Tourism» of Dolyna City Council, Ukraine Association
of Cartoonist.
1.The Competition can be attended by citizens of
Ukraine, foreigners, stateless persons. Participation in the
Competition is free.
2.Competition is held in the following age categories:
Category I (from 7 to 11 years old);
Category II (12 to 17 years old)
Category III (17 years and older)
3.Theme of work: bumblebee, bee, wasp, bee products
and others.
4.The winners of the Competition will be awarded with
prizes and monetary rewards. Prize fund of the Competition
is 40 thousand hrn. The organizer may assign additional
prizes in any form or quantity determined by him.
5.To participate in the Competition, the
competitioner fills in the Entry Form and sends the work.
The works are accepted in two variants on a choice:
original versions of the handwritten drawing or qualitative
copies on a dense
paper at the address:

6.A competitioner can submit no more than 3 works, on
a sheet of paper from A4 to A3. For the electronic version:
A4 format, RGB color concept, 300 dpi resolution, maximum
file size up to 3 MB.
7.The deadline for submitting works is May 20,
2020.
8.Each work (original or copy) must be described in
reverse way as follows: surname, name and address of the
author, year of birth, telephone or electronic contact,
optional work title. Also, with the drawings, the
participant's Entry Form must be sent in printed or
electronic form (if the work was sent by e-mail).
9.The submitted work must be authored. The
participant accepting the terms of this Regulation confirms
that he is the author of the work he sent and has the right
to his unlimited copyright and related rights to use and
dispose of the work submitted.
10.Works submitted to the Competition that do not
meet the conditions set forth in this Regulation will not be
included in the Competition. Also, works that promote
violence, religious and ethnic hatred are not allowed to the
Competition.
11.Submissions will be evaluated according to the
following main criteria:
- having a sense of humor;
- interesting plot;
- creative approach;
- technique of execution;
- conformity of works to the subject of the Competition.
12.The quantitative and personal composition of the
jury is determined by the organizer, approved by the mayor's
decree. The jury selects works for the exhibition and
defines the winners of the Competition in three age
categories. The jury's decision is final and can not be
appealed.
13.The organizers of the contest provide catalog
printing. Each participant of the Competition, whose work is
included in the number of selected works of the winners,
will receive a catalog of the Competition.
14.The winners of the Competition will be announced
and awarded during the Festival of Humor «Vesela Kopytcya»
on July 7, 2020. The selected works will be exhibited in The
Dolyna Regional Museum of Tetyana and Omelan Antonovych «Boykivschyna»
(Dolyna, Chornovola St., 2a).
15.This Regulation is the only document that
determines the conditions of the Competition. Changes and
additions to this Regulation are made in the order of its
adoption.
16.The organizers of the Competition reserve the
right to use works in conducting further exhibitions, to
prepare and publish informational materials, printed
products (catalogs, calendars, booklets), publications on
the competition, etc. in the media and on the Internet. The
organizers are obliged to provide the corresponding
reference to the author of the work in any public
reproduction of the works of the participant.

terms and conditions:
-The competition is open to all amateur and professional
cartoonists.
-Each artist can submit up to 6 works
-There is no limit on the techniques you can use.
-Artworks must not be larger than A3 paper.
-Artworks format must be “JPG” with 300 DPI resolution
and the size of each artwork must not exceed more than 5
megabytes.
-Selected artworks will be included in the festival catalog.

full name, mobile number,exact mailing address, biography
and a photo of the artist. (All included in a word document).
-The Organizer reserves the right to publish the submitted
artworks in the internet, press and … by artist’s name.

Rules:
-Each participant can submit up to 5 works.
-Artworks must be emailed in png or jpg format, 300 dpi
resolution and 2000 pixel width or length.
- A Word file containing full name, postal address, email
address, phone number, photo and CV is kindly needed.
-A PDF copy of the catlog will be sent to all the Artists.
-Only the Finalists will receive A volume of the Catalog.
