«1,5°C»International Cartoon Contest on the topic of
ecology and global warming.
1.5 ° C is the most critical indicator of climate change on
the planet.
In the UN Paris Agreement, ratified in 2015, world leaders
pledged to prevent an increase of the average global
temperature by more than 1.5 degrees Celsius(compared top
re-industrial levels) in 21stcentury.

The theme of the International Contest of Cartoonis
ECOLOGY.
Here are the main subjects of the contest:
• global warming and ecocide,
• reasonable consumption and planet resources,
• garbage and industrial waste,
• biological and natural diversity.
Works performed in the form of a drawing, poster or collage
(including using the Photoshop program) are accepted.
The contest is open to professional and amateur artists from
all over the world and to children aged 7 -16 years (a class
of their own).
Awards:
• Grand prize - 350,000 rubles,(about 4.500 $ US).
• Four prizes of 70,000 rubles (about 990$ US),for each
within listed topics.
• One prize of 70,000 rubles(about 990$ US),from the
newspaper "Ecosphere" by the results of the
readership • One merit award in the children class.
•Special award from sponsors and partner organizations.
• Diplomas: Prize money is taxed under current law.
The jury consists of professional artists and
representatives of the Russian Ecological Movement.
The jury has the right to change the amount of monetary
awards within the limits of the overall funds.
The Chairman of the contest jury is Mikhail Zlatkovsky,
professional artist. Members: Alexandrov Vasiliy, Bogorad
Viktor, Russia, Kazanevskii Vladimir, Ukraina, Feldstein
Andry, USA, Erenburg Boris,Israel.
Participation Rules:
1. Participants can choose any listed subject, including the
main theme.
2. By entering the contest, participant confirms that he or
she is the author of the works and agrees that the Contest
Organizer has the right to publish works on the Internet or
other media, as well as use them in any other way without
restriction. By sending works, author submits that Contest
Organizer has the right to reproduce copies free of charge
for publication on electronic resources, in print media and
other sources without additional approvals and rewards. The
work submitted to the Contest must not violate copyrights or
infringe on the rights of others, violate confidentiality or
contain defamation and insult against any company or person.
The Organizer of the Competition will not be held liable if
the participants do not take these rules into account.
Participants pledge to release the Organizer in case of any
claims by third parties who have may arise if these
conditions are not met.
3. Along with the work, the author must send a completed
participant form. This form has to be filled in Russian or
English. The author should download the participant form
from the website. By sending the completed form, the author
or his legal representatives agree to the processing of his
or her personal data.
4. Participant should send no less than two, but no more
than fifteen works.
5. File name of the works must correspond to following
sample: LAST NAME_name_country_work number
(PETROV_Ishtvan_Sweden_01).
6. Recommended size of files -3000x2000 px, JPG format. Size
of all files together must be LESS THAN 25 mb.
7. Email for sending works: ecoart@red.help
8. The deadline for sending works is March 01, 2021,
inclusively.
The deadline for jury decision -March 15, 2021.
9. The works must be signed by the Author. Additional text
in the work must be in Russian or English.
10. It is allowed to send previously awarded works.
11. Pre-selected works will be published in the online
newspaper "Ecosphere".
12. The original drawing of the awarded work are the
property of the Contest Organizer and must be sent to the
Organizer within one month of the announcement to the
address:123610, Russia, Moscow, 12 Krasnopresnenskaya
embankment(naberezhnaya), Office 1337, Russian Ecological
Movement.
Prize payments are made only after the Contest Organizer
receives the originals of the awarded work.
13. An online catalog of the best works will be published.
14. The decision of the jury is final and not subject to any
review.
15. At the end of the Contest the best works will be
displayed at the exhibition.

Hasat'tan çizer dostlara çağrıdır: Ne
yazık ki yaşadığımız
coğrafyada ve ülkemizde her şeyin giderek
zorlaştığı, ‘çekilmez’ olduğu...
ve giderek mizahın ‘kendisi’ olduğu... (üstelikte
sulu, dayanılmaz, çekilmez) günümüzde, biz sanatçılara
ve çizerlere hayatın her alanında daha da çok işler
düştüğü ve bu konularda daha çok çalışmak,
üretmek ve paylaşmak gerektiği kanaatindeyiz!
Hele ki, son yıllarda kadınlara yönelik taciz,
şiddet, tecavüz, ötekileştirme vs. ile erkek
egemen bir dil, bir 'inanç' ve toplumsal bir
manipülasyonla giderek çoğalan ve dozu artan
baskılara karşı biz sanatçıların
ve çizerlerin kayıtsız kalması asla düşünülemez(di)!
ve nitekim gerek sosyal medyada, gerekse sanatçı
dostlarımızın bulabildikleri tüm mecralarda
zaten bu duruş, bu tepki, bu sanatsal
farkındalık yapılıyor ve yapılmaya
da devam edecek!.. Kaldı ki... ve gayet iyi biliyoruz
ki; bu dünyanın ve göğün yarısı
kadınlarındır ve ‘cennet anaların
(kadınların) ayakları altındadır’,
hiç tereddütsüz!

sanatsal üretimimizle elimizden geleni yapmaya gayret
ediyoruz... şairin dediği gibi : 'Nerde
efkarlı bir dağ varsa, oradayız'

onlarla dayanışmak, biz sanatçıların

YARIŞMA KOŞULLARI
1. Yarışma tüm katılanlara açıktır.
2. Karikatürler uygar toplumun etik ve estetik standartlarını
karşılamalıdır. Şiddete, ırkçıya
veya ulusal ayrımcılığa ya da
şiddet ve pornografi sahnelerine teşvik yok.
3. Kural kırılması veya açık intihal
durumunda, girişler daha fazla tartışma
yapılmadan yarışmadan
kaldırılacaktır.
4. Yürütme yöntemi katılımcıya
kalmış. Dijital formda gönderilen karikatürler aşağıdaki
biçimlere sahip olacaktır: JPEG, A-4, 300 dpi.
Yazarın adı, fatura adresi ve e-posta
girişine iliştirilecektir.
5. Katılımcı başına en fazla üç
giriş.
6. Anlatım İngilizce olacak, ancak kelimesiz
girişleri teşvik edilmektedir.
7. Yarışma 2 ay sürecektir. Başvurular için
son başvuru tarihi 4.11.2020'dir. 1.12.2020 8'e
uzatıldı.

girmenin yanı sıra, eserleri sergi için

gerekmektedir.
10. Karikatürler dijital formda filigran edilmelidir.
11. Kesin sonuçlar 20.12.2020
12 tarihinde yayınlanacaktır.
Katılımcıların çalışmalarının
yer alıp kataloğunun
yayınlanmasının yanı sıra
yarışmayı kazanan çizgi filmlerin açık
artırması planlanıyor.
13. Yarışmaya katılarak, bir girişin
yazarı hüküm ve koşulları kabul eder ve
çalışmalarının web sitesi beseder.ru ve
ortak web sitelerinde, promosyonlarda, sosyal ağlarda
ve yarışma kataloğunda
yayınlanmasını kabul eder. Bunu söyledikten
sonra, yazar çalışma için telif hakkını
korur.
14. Yarışmaya katılan asıllar ve
kopyalar yazara iade edilmeyecektir.
Ödül:
1-st yer – 777 USD + fahri diploma 2-yer – 555 USD +
fahri diploma 3-üncü sıra – 222 USD + fahri diploma
10 eser fahri diploma ile tanınacaktır.

Our satirical magazine "Beseder?" - http://beseder.ru, which has been published in Jerusalem since 1991, is also running the International Caricature Contest "Link to Money".
Artists from dozens of countries participate in our contests.
Due to the large number of entries submitted this year, we decided to extend the deadline for submission until December 1.
We will be grateful if you can help bring information about this competition to the cartoonists.

CONDITIONS OF THE CONTEST
1. The contest is open to all entrants.
2. Cartoons must meet the ethical and aesthetic standards of
civilized society. No incitement to violence, racial or
national discrimination, or scenes of violence and
pornography.
3. In the event of rule breaking or overt plagiarism,
entries will be removed from the contest without further
discussion.
4. Method of execution is up to the entrant. Cartoons
submitted in digital form will have the following formats:
JPEG, A-4, 300 dpi. Author’s name, billing address and
e-mail will be attached to the entry.
5. Maximum of three entries per participant.
6. Narration will be in English, but wordless entries are
encouraged.
7. The contest will last for 2 months. Final submission date
for entries is 4.11.2020. Extended to 1.12.2020
8. Entries will be published on the contest’s Facebook
page and “Beseder?”’s website – beseder.ru
9. As well as entering a file into the contest, authors
whose works will be chosen for the exhibition, must send in
the original or a high quality copy in A-4 format by
20.12.2020.
10. Cartoons must be watermarked in digital form.
11. Final results will come in on 20.12.2020
12. An exhibition of the participants' works and the
publication of a catalog are planned, as well as an auction
of cartoons that have won the competition.
13. By entering the contest, the author of an entry accepts
the terms and conditions, and agrees for their work to be
published on the website beseder.ru and partner websites, in
promotions, social networks and the contest’s catalog.
Having said that, the author retains their copyright for the
work.
14. The originals and copies participating in the contest
will not be returned to the author.
PRIZES
1-st place – 777 USD + honorary diploma
2-nd place – 555 USD + honorary diploma
3-rd place – 222 USD + honorary diploma
10 works will be recognized with honorary diplomas.

For the 23rd time already our association is organizing its biennial cartoon contest.
In the first place we would like to thank all participants of the previous editions for their continued participation in this contest. The continued increase in the number of participants, entries and participating countries, and especially the quality of your work, proves the trust you put in our organization.
Also this year you can upload your drawings with a the online platform :

Don’t forget to check your personal data in ‘my profile’.
We hope we can count on your collaboration and we wish you a
lot of success with 'CHANCES AND OPPORTUNITIES'.
RULES
1.Theme: ”CHANCES AND OPPORTUNITIES”
DEADLINE : 10th of January 2021!!!!
2. The number of entries is limited to 5.
Any kind of graphical technique will be accepted. The works
may not have been exhibited, published or awarded before.
The drawings shall not bear subtitles.
3. You can send your works in two ways:

OR send them by regular post to the following address:

On our website you can check the list of participants to see
if you works have arrived. The entry list is updated daily.
4.The drawings shall have the following dimensions: A4 –
300 dpi, maximum 3MB for digital works.
5.The drawings sent by post must bear, on the reverse side,
the surname, forename and address of the participant.
6.By participating, the artist agrees with this rules and
authorize the organizers to publish the submitted works in
the catalogue and for the promotion of the exhibition. For
any other use of the cartoons the permission of the
cartoonist is previously requested.
7.The following prizes are awarded:
1st prize € 1.800,00 + trophy
2nd prize € 1.500,00 + trophy
3rd prize € 1.300,00 + trophy
Best European cartoon € 900,00
Best Belgian cartoon € 900,00
Prize of the ECC Personal exhibition in the ECC
On the occasion of the prize-giving ceremony, all the
winners are invited for a stay of 3 days in Kruishoutem.*
8.On request the participants get a free catalogue. However,
the postage costs are for their own account. They can also
collect the catalogue at the European Cartoon Center. If
your work is published in the catalogue a free copy is sent
automatically.
9.By participating the artist lends the submitted works to
the organizers for itinerant exhibitions. Consequently, the
selected works will remain at the disposal of the organizers
until December 2022! The awarded works will become property
of the organization.
10.The original entries will only be sent back by the
organizers on written request. The organization can in no
way be held responsible for eventually damaged or lost works
11.If after announcement of the prizes, it appears that
plagiarism has been committed, the jury can after
deliberation withdraw the prize.
12.The international jury of cartoon professionals will meet
in Kruishoutem on the 29th of January 2021. The complete
list of jury members will be announced on our website after
the expiry of the deadline.*
13.The inauguration and prize-giving ceremony will take
place on Saturday the 3rd of April 2021. The exhibition will
run from the 4th of April till the 25th of June 2021.*
(*) If the corona pandemic results in specific restrictions
on travelling or events the live jury meeting can be
replaced by a digital meeting or the prize giving ceremony
can be postponed or cancelled. We will look for
alternatives. |

SICARFEST 2020, Semarang International Cartoon Festival 2020 | Deadline 12 November 2020 |
|
|
SICARFEST #1 2020 (Semarang International Cartoon Festival) was held in 2020 by the Visual Arts Department, Faculty of Languages and Art, Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes). The theme of this exhibition is Educational Cartoons for COVID-19. All artists from all over the world are expected to contribute to educating the society about the importance of maintaining health by adhering to the existing health protocol regulations during COVID-19.
This theme was determined by the concern of the Visual Arts Department, Faculty of Languages and Art, UNNES about the spread of COVID-19. Inevitably education will provide understanding to students to be more aware of implementing healt protocols. Through education, students will also mentally and physically be trained to be more immune to COVID-19, so online education must still be done. For this spirit, the Visual Arts Department, Faculty of Languages and Arts, UNNES held the SICARTFEST #1 2020 event to educate and entertain the society through cartoon exhibitions.
Terms of Work
Works at the SICARTFEST exhibition must meet the criteria:
Explain the response to COVID-19 from a comedy and educational perspective on COVID-19.
Each participant can send only 1 cartoon.
Write a description of the work: a) full name, b) title, c) media, d) technique, e)email address, and f) country.
Write the concept of the work from the idea of creation (the beginning of finding ideas).
Send cartoon must be 300 DPI resolution, JPG format.
Timeline
This exhibition will be enlivened with several parallel events:
01-12 November 2020: submission artwork
09 November 2020: Creative Cartoon Waorkshop
16 November 2020: Opening Cartoon Exhibition
20 November 2020: Special award funniest, insightful & actual
20 favorites artist
22 November 2020: Indonesian Cartoon Talk (Bincang Kartunis Indonesia CAKARIN)

2020 GOLDEN OLIVE HUMOR SERVICE AWARDS HAVE BEEN DETERMINED
(October 22, 2020 - Girne) Under the honorary chairmanship
of Girne Mayor Nidai Güngördü, in line with the decision
taken by the members of the International Olive Humor
Festival Organizing Committee, consisting of the
representatives of Kyrenia Municipality and the Cyprus
Turkish Cartoonists Association, Cyprus Turkish Humor
Culture and World Cartoon Art ' The winners of the
traditional “Golden Olive Humor Service Awards” given to
people who have made significant contributions to the
company in the past or today were determined.
At the evaluation meeting held by the members of the
International Olive Humor Festival Organizing Committee
consisting of M. Serhan Gazioğlu, Derman Atik, Musa
Kayra, Selen Selışık and Hüseyin Çakmak,
under the honorary chairmanship of Kyrenia Mayor Nidai
Güngördü, "2020 Golden Olive Humor Service
Awards" The winners were determined as follows:
Utku Karsu (For His Contributions to Turkish Cypriot Cartoon
Art), Mahmut İslamoğlu (For His Work on Humorous
Poetry - Stoning and Cypriot Humor Culture); Cemal Tunceri
(For His Contributions to Turkish Cypriot Cartoon Art);
Biler Demircioğlu (Due to His Works in Humorous Theater
and Humorous Play - Parody); Alberto Morales Ajubel (For His
Contributions to Cuba, Spain and World Cartoon Art); Semih
Poroy (For His Contributions to Turkish and World Cartoon
Art).
The 2020 Golden Olive Humor Service Awards will be awarded
on a date to be announced later. The awards to be presented
to the artists will consist of “Golden Olive Sculpture”
and “Award Diploma”.

BELİRLENDİ
(22 Ekim 2020 – Girne) Girne Belediye Başkanı
Nidai Güngördü’nün onursal başkanlığında,
Girne Belediyesi ile Kıbrıs Türk Karikatürcüler
Derneği temsilcilerinden oluşan Uluslararası
Zeytin Mizah Şenliği Düzenleme Komitesi Üyeleri’nin
aldığı karar doğrultusunda,
Kıbrıs Türk Mizah Kültürü’ne ve Dünya
Karikatür Sanatı’na geçmişte veya günümüzde
önemli katkılar sağlayan kişilere verilen
geleneksel “Altın Zeytin Mizah Hizmet Ödülleri”nin
sahipleri belirlendi.
Girne Belediye Başkanı Nidai Güngördü’nün
onursal başkanlığında, M. Serhan
Gazioğlu, Derman Atik, Musa Kayra, Selen
Selışık ve Hüseyin Çakmak’tan oluşan
Uluslararası Zeytin Mizah Şenliği Düzenleme
Komitesi Üyeleri’nin yaptığı
değerlendirme toplantısında, “2020
Altın Zeytin Mizah Hizmet Ödülleri”ni kazananlar
şu şekilde belirlendi:

Diploması”ndan oluşacaktır. |
